Over the course of 2 days, visit some of the highlights of this ancient capital, including the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, the enigmatic Bayon within the walled city of Angkor Thom, Preah Khan, and Ta Prohm, which is a temple in the jungle known as the "Tomb Raider" temple.

When meals are not included, your tour leader (where available) will be happy to help with restaurant recommendations, bookings, and directions. What a wonderful surprise this tour was. Jan our guide was a delight and very knowledgeable. Angkor Wat & the surrounding temples are a must see. So is the Cambodian circus. Highly recommend the G Adventures Angkor Wat tour.

Ratha and our local guide Seeya (spelling?) were incredible. They made our travel to Cambodia and Angkor Wat an extraordinary experience. This was the shorter leg of combined trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Our tour guide "Jen" Chan Chong was well informed. Her English was very good she was able to answer our questions on the various topics. Learn a lot about the history of the country and the background of the temples . She provided detailed stories of relics on the temples walls.

I was shocked that I was the only traveler as I wrongly thought I'd be part of a group. This was not G adventures' fault but mine but it meant I wasn't expecting undivided attention and wasn't sure about the etiquette of whether the guide ate with me, who should pay (I did) or what sort of tip to give. Having said the he was very good, friendly and very knowledgeable (JB in Siem Reap) and we did a through tour of 6 different locations around Angkor Wat.
