Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok
This evening, the famous Khao San Road is on the itinerary for your first night out. Explore this buzzing traveller hub with your CEO and check out the lively bars and dance parties that line the street. Grab a Thai beer or tea and connect with your fellow travellers. Don't forget to sample local delicacies, and try a deep fried scorpion if you dare!
If you'd like, get here early to get in some sightseeing. It's best to travel around by water taxi, since the streets are so crowded. We recommend Chao Phraya River for its excellent views.

Built in 1928 as a fresh market for locals, and revamped in the 1980s as an outlet for all Malaysian handicrafts, the night market is a local institution. Make sure you don't miss it.

The streets of Chinatown (also known as Jonker Walk) are also lined with Peranakan (Straits Chinese) shophouses offering their traditional cuisine, Nyonya. Explore the many temples, churches, mosques, museums, and forts.

The tour was very organized and places were stunning
12/15/2023
Very well organized! Guides have big knowledge about the country. Perfect for solo travelers.
12/15/2023
Group tours are an amazing way for solo travelers to meet others and be able to see all the sights they want to. Plus make incredible friends along the way

The trip was wonderful, everything was perfectly organized. Our tour guide Fon was very nice, we had a lot of fun together, she did everything she could to fulfill every wish. However, I found the price of the trip far too expensive considering the accommodation that was booked. I was aware from the outset that the accommodation was low budget. But that the standard was so low that the accommodation was totally filthy, the sheets and towels had disgusting stains all over them, etc. Is an absolute no-go. The 'included' breakfast in most of the hotels was also inedible. The worst hotel was in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was located in a street where homeless people loitered, so you were afraid to leave the hotel alone. In addition, members of our group had rats in their room. That is an absolute NO GO. G Adventures knows about the condition of the hotel and continues to book the accommodation anyway. Second minus point for the additional costs incurred during the trip. Why do I book an organized tour if I have to pay extra for activities such as a hike? Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Fun and affordable
12/06/2023
Enjoyable experience but almost all activities were optional and out of pocket
12/06/2023
Really great way of seeing a lot of places in a relatively short space of time and good for meeting new people. Slightly reduced due to time spent on transport and not that much time in each place
12/06/2023
Well organized, CEO is very good, since I only know the 19-39 groups which have a tough schedule I would not recommend them to people who would be overwhelmed by so many changes in so little time
12/01/2023
Cost effective, good guide and group
12/01/2023
G Adventures was one of the best decisions I've ever made and will continue to make. The format and organization of the trip made sure we squeezed every last drop of adventure out of our tour and made it feel like the experience of a lifetime.
