Excellent snapshot of two unique cultures experiencing the sights and tastes of Buenos Aires and Rio, together with the must-see jaw-dropping Iguazu Falls. Would recommend extending a couple of days before and after if possible, and embracing the optional activities at Iguazu.

This trip covered some magnificent sites I have been wanting to explore for a long time. Not only did I get to see the Iguazu Falls and Christ the Redeemer, but the whole tour was faultless with regard to accommodation, food and beverage, travel, "mini lectures" and physical exercise.

This trip was a GREAT 'whistle stop tour' of some Argentinian and Brazilian highlights. The tour leader, Andres has worked with Intrepid for a long time and he was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to ensure the experience was hassle free and very enjoyable for all. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to do a lot in a short space of time. Also, as a solo female traveller I felt entirely safe and secure.

Would highly recommend. I chose it cause it fit my timeline, and it turned out to be very efficient in seeing major sights and doing activities adequately without feeling rushed and then having appropriate amount of free time for exploring/restaurants/ BEACHES. And I can't say enough good about our guide Andrés, he is fantastic, professional/ organized and a kind, caring person. This was my 2nd intrepid trip and I foresee many many more in my future.

We really enjoy our trip and we learned so much about the history of the 3 countries, Peru, Argentina and Beazil, that we visited. We had a problem as we tried to get past Argentinian security on route from Peru to Argentina. They needed to know what hotel we were staying in in Argentina. We had never been given that information. It was quite embarrassing as we were all put to one side. Eventually we got through to Intrepid's emergency number and were given the hotel name.

Went on this trip with an open mind and was completely blown away with how great it was. Although it’s only 7 days it felt longer as there is much packed into those days. The Iguazu Falls were breathtaking! Our guide Javier was superb. Would definitely recommend this trip

We enjoyed our trip immensely and the itinerary was perfect, giving us a flavour of Buenos Aires and Rio. The main reason for the trip was Iguazu Falls, and they were spectacular. Our guide, Javier, was very thoughtful and inclusive, helping the group dynamic.

This was my first tour with Intrepid and I would definitely do another! It was well organised, informative and fun, due to the destination, the guide and the group.

If you get Santiago as your guide, you will be very well supported and educated on this trip. You see all the iconic locations, with Christ the Redeemer statue and Iguazu falls the highlights. But he makes the trip come to life.

Our family of 4 with college-aged kids to Argentina and Brazil was simply amazing. We enjoyed bucket-list items at each location and made memories for a lifetime. Booking was easy, Intrepid handled all the details. Our guide was amazing and helped us to navigate cultures, translations, helped with recommendations and reservations, etc. Accommodations were nice enough, not fancy but all clean and comfortable. The local guides were also extremely helpful in each location. Nothing but good things to say about the trip and Intrepid!

It was my first time on an organised trip and I really enjoyed it! I nearly didn't book it, but so glad I did. Great mix of people - a family, a couple and 2 of us travelling solo. Andres the guide was amazing at ensuring everything ran smoothly + shared so much about the history, culture, politics etc of the places we visited. It was great to just soak it all in and not stress about how you are going to get from A to B. Iguazu Falls was incredible and I loved Buenos Aires!

Our trip to Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio De Janeiro booked by Trailfinders, operated by Intrepid was fantastic apart from the fact that when we arrived in Buenos Aires our hotel wasn't booked for us at all. This was quite a shock but it was quickly resolved

We recommend this trip mainly due to the excellent knowledge and wonderful warm communication ability of our guide who lead us to experience many unique cultural dining and local activities. Thank you Lorenzo!
