All of our tours have been wonderful experiences.

I did love this tour, but would have preferred more inclusions. Whilst I have previously have done a G Adv Nat Geo tour, which was fantastic, I did feel that this tour left too much to our own arrangements
11/11/2023
My number one reason is G Adventures doing the planning and allowing me the luxury of just enjoying my travelling experience. After experiencing the classic and national geo tours, the national geographic is a better fit for me and I would recommend this style of touring versus the classic
11/11/2023
There were some things about our tour that I was not completely happy with.
11/04/2023
The CEO was fantastic
11/04/2023
I had no idea that this tour involves taking taxis, and public transport with your luggages.
11/04/2023
I would recommend G Adventures to friend or family member. I would share the lessons learned (packing tips, as well as clothes washing tips).

Our CEO, Marco, was great! He was very knowledgeable and responsive. Some of the hotels were great and others not so great. Hotel Ast—ria in Coimbra is badly in need of renovations. The one in Seville would have been good if the a/c worked. It did not.

Love for G Adventures to do all the planning. Enjoyed the trip layout and the free time it allowed. Appreciated the orientation walks.
12/02/2023
Although there were group activities and visitation of sites, there was also a lot of free time. This allowed me to explore more of the items of interest to me. If I had questions, our guides were very helpful.

I really liked the format you used wherein you G Adventures CEO conducts a preliminary meeting at each new location and then takes the group on an orientation tour which allows you get you bearings, have the main attractions pointed out to you, how to get there by foot, train, public transportation and so on. They give recommendations on restaurants , for particular food types, attractions, timing of travel etc. Both CEOs quickly set up a WhatsApp group for the tour and made very effective use of it with details of all the items mentioned verbally with links so everyone had the same & relevant information throughout the day and the whole trip. And you had access to the WhatsApp feed even if you didn't have cell coverage. They took the stress out of moving around by public transportation by taking care of everything from paying taxis, to timing & scheduling because they had obvious local knowledge & put it good use. All the hotels used for the tour were perfectly fine, they were clean of adequate size, and check-in & out was trouble free & quickly done. The nicest hotel was Hotel Europa in Madrid-several of the hotels had pretty threadbare towels in the bathroom.

Tours are well organized, accommodations are situated strategically, the guides are highly competent, versatile and accommodating. Local resources are used as much as possible. There is a lot of guidance and a lot of free time to choose one's own activities. Group activities offer a great cultural experience,
12/02/2023
I liked the freedom of the tour, but would have liked to have more activities potentially being booked on my behalf, rather than leaving me to do it. Sometimes tricky to navigate with spotty wifi and two factor authentication for banking.
12/02/2023
good blend of organized activities and time to explore own interests

Affordable, excellent leadership and organization

Had a good time
11/18/2023
The organization was very good and we didn't have to worry about the logistics. *Most* of the hotels were good. I gave a rating of 7 because a couple of the hotels could have been better.
