I had so much fun on my tour! Great value for $

I booked the trip because of the Hostelworld connection but we ended up staying at hotels and G Adventures never informed us of the reason. The group was also really small so whilst it was great for the easiness of the transportation, it's a higher risk with a small group of not finding people you connect with.

We barely stayed in any hostels throughout my tour, which defeated the purpose as to why I chose Roamies over other G Adventures travel styles.

It felt safe, it was fun, saw a lot of places that I might not have seen otherwise, and our ?CEO? was super in touch with what was going on around Mexico.

G is a great company with good resources and great people!

I enjoyed the balance of guided exploring and independent exploring. I also loved how my CEO Liam knew all the good spots, he always made sure we experienced the most authentic Mexican cuisine and activities. The optional activities were also great, it was nice to have the decision to participate in them as sometimes I just wanted to explore solo.

Reasonably priced, felt safe, and a fair amount of autonomy.

It was smooth sailing the whole trip and felt great not having to plan and organise anything, the tour guide had done this all for us, I felt like I could finally relax and enjoy my holiday.
04/22/2023
I loved the tour but the pace was breakneck ?- I would recommend to a similar style traveler to book extra days at the end to relax! Also, the hostels varied in quality quite a bit ?- one of the places we stayed had broken air conditioning during a heat wave so I paid to stay in elsewhere'so I could rest. With all the early mornings, van travel and activities, a good sleep really mattered.
