Day 1: Medellín

Welcome to Colombia! Arrive any time and chill out, relax, and catch some rays before we meet up later for a bite to eat and some welcome drinks!

Day 2: Medellín

Good morning! We're throwing ourselves straight into Colombian culture today as we head out to explore Medellin! We'll spend the day learning about the culutre and checking out all the murals too.

Day 3: Medellín

We'll start the day by climbing 650 stairs up to El Peñol Rock. The view from the top is next level, it's one not to be missed and SO worth the climb! Afterwards, we head to Guatape, Colombia's most colourful town and an Instagram hotspot for all of you who love a pic for the gram. We'll spend the afternoon exploring this town and then head out to explore the local nightlife too!

Day 4: Medellín/Santa Rosa de Cabal

This morning we are travelling over to Santa Rosa de Cabal! It'll take us a few hours to reach our next spot so buy some snacks and get your music ready for some bus karaoke. This evening we're going to some local hotsprings, these are world-famous and a must do so grab your towels - this is an evening you'll never forget!

Day 5: Santa Rosa de Cabal

Today we're heading for a hike in Cocora Valley! This awesome location is famous for its super tall palms and amazing hiking routes. We'll spend the morning exploring and soaking in this incredible place. This afternoon we'll travel over to Salento and spend our time exploring and souvineer searching!

Day 6: Santa Rosa de Cabal

Today we'll visit a traditional coffee farm and learn all about how the beans are produced and processed. This afternoon we're going out with a bang in Salento. Heard of Tejo experience? We'll if you haven't its basically a traditional colombian game involving gunpowder...IYKYK!

Day 7: Santa Rosa de Cabal/Cartagena

Today is another travel day and we're hopping on a flight over to Cartagena. Once we arrive in this city famous for its architecture and yellow buildings we'll head out on a walking tour to learn all about its history. Our local guide will show us the Walled City and the cool Getsemani district. The local breweries, markets and live music around here makes it an amazing place to visit - you'll be dancing in street in no time.

Day 8: Cartagena

Today is one for the water babies...we're going to Islas del Rosario! We'll spend the day hopping around Islas del Rosario catching sunrays, swimming with some insane marine life and soaking in every last minute with this amazing group in this awesome country!

Day 9: Cartagena

Today is the end of our trip and it's been an awesome one! Your Tru Leader is on hand to help with any onward travel plans you may have.

Meals

When meals are not included, your tour leader (where available) will be happy to help with restaurant recommendations, bookings, and directions. Please let us know if you have any dietary needs or preferences. We willdo our best to accommodate these, though we cannot guarantee that every request can be met.

Luggage

You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the tour. You will need to carry your own bags between the vehicle and your hotel room. Drivers will assist with loading and unloading luggage from the vehicle.

Fitness Level

This tour requires an Average level of fitness. Activities are paced gently and include leisure time. You may be expected to join guided walks of up to one hour, navigate short stairways and mild inclines, and manage your own luggage. You should also be able to board and exit all transport without assistance.
