I liked how the trip was organized and the activities that were available for us to choose from. There were some things about the trip that could be improved: the hotel goof-up at Monteverde, and the group demographic being the most important reasons I gave a 7 and not a 10.

I have had 3 trips with G and had good experiences on all 3 trips with guides and experience

A great way to engage with a new place.

Things were well organized. CEO was very friendly and helpful. G Adventures attracts a nice group of travellers. Reasonably priced

I am a travel agent who has travelled with G a number of times and love the core values and travel style G offers. While we had some glitches and moments which weren't great, I do try to 'Embrace the Bizarre' and roll with things. I have contacted Ana Santamaria and Erin Rogers (Canadian GPS',s) with some additional comments relating to the hotels and tour if you wish to follow up for more details as your form is limited

Having a guide is awesome and the side adventures were great. but when you travel to a completely new destination and only.get email itineraries in advance, you need them to be accurate as much as possible. For example, your group won't be over 12 people...ours was 16. I would',ve like to know we would have a large group and very crowded bus the entire trip. I expect changes of course but this larger group size led to complications

Balance of structure (accommodation and transport scheduled, options for eating/activities) and free time, felt like more meals/better accommodation (eg Monteverde) should have been included given overall price
12/31/2023
There were 16 people total on the trip. 6 people from same family were traveling and another family of 4, 1 couple and 4 of us single people. It made it challenging to do anything such as having group meals because families didn't want to eat as a group or even try to talk to anyone else.

Accommodations could be better for the price of the tour.

Good organization, good response to unexpected issues, great guides. CEO friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Very easy. See the highlights with lots of flexibility.

Very well planned and executed. Some of the hotels can be a bit better.

This is my first experience with G Adventures. Overall it's was well organized, great balance in terms of doing activity and some free time and experienced CEO. The only reason I give a 9 is because hotel in Monteverde was not good as the walls are thin and can be noisy hearing other people and it was smelly.

Having the logistics and activities planned out for you allows you to enjoy the vacation much more than doing all the work yourself
