This was a fantastic trip experiencing snow capped mountains, lakes, turquoise rivers, vineyards and the Adriatic. Slovenia had it all. Our guides Davor and Dani were exceptional with great knowledge and humour. Book an e-bike if you don’t like too many hills!

Slovenia was outstanding. We pedalled past coastlines, mountains, glacial rivers, wildflowers, and winelands that looked like Tuscany—only with mountains in the backdrop! I loved the variety of inclusions, from wine tastings to cave trains. Drivers were patient and respectful toward cyclists, the bikes and support vehicle were top-notch, and everything was seamlessly organized. Our leaders, Dani and Davor, took such great care of us—they worked so hard but somehow managed to make it look effortless.

Excellent, well organised cycling trip in a beautiful country. Varied scenery from mountain, lakes, quaint villages, gorges, spectacular rivers to vineyards and beaches. We rode on quiet roads or cycle lanes. Davor, our cycle leader, knew the routes extremely well and gave us accurate distances on the ups and downs of each section of our cycling day for those who wanted it.. He also factored in great coffee stops about an hour after starting each cycling day and these also had good toilets! Both equally important!! He was enthusiastic, fun and so knowledgable on geography, history, and food. He and Dani worked extremely hard to ensure we had a fabulous time and kept us safe. Thank you.

Cycle Slovenia is a very well organised and presented tour. The Intrepid staff on my departure were excellent in every way, and really helped create a positive group dynamic. Slovenia itself has lovely, varied scenery, and seems not to be over-touristed- ideal for cycling.

Slovenia was absolutely amazing. Tomi and Andros, best leader, and best driver EVER. We loved this trip. It was challenging for me physically as I hadn’t done many hills but their encouragement was fantastic. In the end I was smoking those hills! Accommodation beyond expectations and bikes well maintained and perfectly suited to each person. Bonus of a fabulous group of people. Any Intrepid trip is highly recommended.
