One week of being immersed in Egyptian history, culture and cuisine with other families like ours along with an amazing tour guide to take us through it all (Shout out to the lovely Marwa!) - there was nothing more we could have asked for ! One of the best trips EVER !

The Family Trip to Egypt was excellent! It was our first multi-day organized tour and we are so grateful for the care and consideration that went into the planning and execution of the entire itinerary. Our guide (Marwa!) was wonderful and we learned so much.

Our family trip to Egypt in Sept 2023 was fantastic! This was a grandparent and 2 grandkids trip - kids ages 10 and 13 - grandparents old but fit! Our guide was terrific and the itinerary was perfect. Although the trip was only 8 days - we visited so many places with a good mix of the “big” sights and the smaller thoughtful ones and plenty of free time by the pool in the afternoons. I highly recommend this family trip. It was a wonderful big memory trip for us all!

One of our best holidays ever, if not the best. It was a great mix between exploring ancient Egypt and chilling by the pool. The tombs at Valley of the Kings and the Pyramids were my highlights.

This was an excellent adventure for the whole family. The activities were well planned and the days provided great activities for the children and adults, with just enough sightseeing, exploring and down-time for the whole group. The kids loved exploring the sites, trying new food and learning about the history and culture as well as playing in the pool. It really helped that the group got on so well which meant the kids were happy playing together and everyone could relax. We are looking forward to booking our next intrepid adventure!

We had a really great experience on the intrepid family tour of Egypt. The trip was really well organised, and our guide was great. We were 4 families in total, and we all got on (especially the kids) which made it such a fun experience. Strongly recommended!

This was an amazing family trip. Every detail was organized. Food, travel and hotels all great. Our guide had exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm for ancient Egyptian which made it special. She organized our excursions in early morning so we completely missed the crowds. It was the trip of a lifetime.

The Egypt Family holiday is a perfect tour to do with young kids looking for a bit of fun and adventure. Having a guide makes it easy and you do so much you feel like you’re away for a month rather than a week. Highly recommend and fingers crossed you’re lucky enough to get Ahmed as your Guide!

Highly recommend Intrepid if you want to take your family to Egypt. Such a great itinerary and so much care taken by our guide, Shrouk, to ensure we had a great trip. If you're looking for a family friendly trip to Egypt, then this is the one. As a single parent I felt at home with the other families and totally safe in a foreign environment. Plus the guides are so knowledgeable!

Excellent holiday; fantastic guide who looked after us well and even arranged a local football match for the kids. We went in August and whilst it was hot, this was well managed and never an issue for any of the kids. Would thoroughly recommend.

This trip was only eight days long, we felt that we Received a wonderful experience of the major attractions. As a family we were especially impressed with intrepid Egypt for providing a female guide and I’m sure this will be a selling point for many other travellers to this amazing country.

We really enjoyed this Egyptian Holiday. The itinerary was great as each day was better than day before and the build-up so we could appreciate Abu Simbel was amazing. Mohamed was an amazing tour guide that handled all the logistics seemly and made Egyptian mythology and history come alive.
