I met amazing people and my tour guide M was absolutely amazing. But it was very fast and I wish we would have stayed longer in some places.

The whole trip except the tour leader was a scam.

Great way to meet people and have the safety and experience of local guides to provide information on the locations

110% would recommend!! I feel like all the hassle from solo travel has been removed. Furthermore, all the stops, stays, guides and activities were completely professional and comfortable. it's great to have a guide who has good local knowledge and is happy to help. But also have the ability to have some free time to explore if you wish.

I had the best time, the trip was perfectly organized, Bun as a guide did an amazing job, the countries we traveled to were great and I felt save all the time.

Joey the tour guide made sure that everything went smoothly all the time and he made my first solo travel seamless and safe!

It was a great trip and you got to see loads of thing and I got many more experiences and friends for life

I personally love this way of traveling! it's not a glamorous experience, but rich in culture and experience
08/03/2023
The itinerary fit a lot in with the time but it was run a bit like a military operation rather than a holiday, there was too much emphasis on cultural activities and very little on fun with so many temples, early mornings and long travel days. The places we were meant to stop to do fun activities in the itinerary such as snorkeling we found out that these activities were no longer included and as such they shouldn't be in the itinerary anymore. Additionally we were told to bring a swimming costume for a trip to the beach then told we were advised not to swim! There was a lot of travelling on terrible roads in Cambodia with long travelling times when a highway is available as G Adventures don't want to pay the tolls. Additionally for the price of the tour, not many activities were included compared to other tours I've been on and accommodation was exceptionally basic with 9+ bedded dorms in places so it's hard to see where the money goes as it feels you're constantly adding money for various things. The group size was too large for 1 local guide as you often couldn't hear the group leader or the. Guides due to the size of the group and some of the local guides were sub-par. Finally, many of the 'optional' lunches were preordered by our guide with us only being given the choice of the most basic options of rice or noodles despite larger menus and us paying for the food ourselves.

I loved the experience but I think it's not for every type of traveler, it's a good fit for a youthful profile who likes to have a variety of activities without rest. For calmer people who don't want such a fast pace, it can be exhausting.

CEO (Joey) was fantastic, lots of culture and hostel parties
06/08/2024
Every hostel was a party hostel?. All were geared towards partying and nightlife so we're constantly loud and distributive. They were not necessarily close to the city sites and attractions but were closer to the party streets. Also, as someone who paid for a private room, it was disconcerting to find that pretty frequently all the rooms ended up being doubles anyways.

Good variations of busyness, seeing lots in a short amount of time & keeping on the move. Some very long days not for the average traveler and not a lot of free time/movement for your own plans

The tour was much better than I expected. I loved the group, the itinerary, and the tour guide Joey!

The stated included activities weren't included, the tour felt very disorganized and confusing

Because I had the experience of a lifetime.

It is a fun, action-packed way to experience several countries/regions efficiently in a relatively short amount of time
