This is a wonderful introduction to the coast of Croatia. You will enjoy fabulous scenery, activities and beautiful food. You will be kept busy but you can opt in or out as you choose - and you still have plenty of opportunity for your own free time. Some accommodation can be a 10 minute walk away (with plenty of steps) so keep this in mind with your luggage.

Fabulous trip. Not regimented, plenty of free time. Marija was a wonderful tour leader with a breadth of interests and passion for her country, considerate, kind, informative and loads of fun.

Intrepid trips are just so easy. You get to be a traveler and explore the local area in depth. Accommodations are local and make you feel like you are fitting into the local culture instead of standing out as a tourist. Intrepid does a great job of blending travel with culture.

We are a couple in our early 70’s & this was our first Intrepid Tour. We loved the variety of places, activities & the friendliness of our small group. There was a 50 year age range but we enjoyed everyone’s company. Our guide Flutra had a big part in making our week so memorable.

This is my 8th Intrepid trip and I’m sure it won’t be my last. This was a nice shorter trip with a good pace, as we spent 2 nights in each location except the last city. So even though it’s a short trip, it had time for relaxation as well as exploration. There weren’t many included activities and even the trip to the national park had an element of being able to go off on your own if you wanted to. Highlights of the trip were the national park, going to the Blue Cave and the included dinner as well as the many opportunities to swim and explore the old cities.

A fabulous one-of-a-kind adventure and met some friends for life!

I loved this tour! We saw and did a lot without it feeling too rushed or hectic. I found it was a good mix of spending time with the group and having free time as well. It was well-organized without feeling too rigid. Our tour guide Raluca was amazing as well - so kind, knowledgeable, and organized, and very easy to get along with. There are so many highlights to this trip and it's such a stunning country. Highly recommend!

The tour provided a good mix of organised/included experiences and independent time, and took the stress out of organising and coordinating ourselves. Our ‘Explore Croatia’ tour was an incredible experience. We were able to enjoy so many beautiful places in Croatia including Dubrovnik, Mljet, Korcula, Hvar and Split. In each location we had set activities and free time. Our fantastic tour guide Dinko made sure that we were always enjoying ourselves and making the most of our time. He was so knowledgeable and informative, we learnt so much about the locations we visited. I highly recommend this tour, and any tour that Dinko runs! Such amazing memories to last a lifetime. A fantastic week spent exploring the Croatian coastline. Our guide, Dora, made it a great experience with excellent knowledge of the area and awesome restaurant recommendations. The full day boat trip from Hvar was a particular highlight.

Local guides make the difference. Dora had so much knowledge about the history, culture, people and landscape and was so happy and proud to share it with the group, that it turned a great trip into an excellent one.

This trip was my first trip with Intrepid and what a brilliant one it was! Thank you to our group leader Lucija for being so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout. This trip is a perfect mixture of cities and islands and the use of local transport and accommodation meant that it was authentic and showed the real Croatia! I would recommend this trip to anyone!

My trip to Croatia was a wonderful mix of beach holiday and cultural education. I enjoyed traveling as part of a small group--I had the convenience of a planned itinerary and fun travel companions, with the freedom to do things on my own during unstructured times.

This is a good introduction to Croatia with some good information provided along the way. There are aspects that are basic like travelling on public buses which really I could’ve organised ourselves. There are A LOT of steps in Croatia and a fair Level of fitness was required during the heat as it was really hot. I felt that some walking aspects could’ve been organised earlier in the day to avoid the heat.

Explore Croatia is a fabulous place to start if you are visiting Croatia for the first time. The 7 nights were well paced with a good mix of free time. There was enough freedom of choices also. We were extremely happy and really like travelling with Intrepid.
