international groups, like-minded travelers, good balance between organized activities and free time, different types of trips for different people, frequent departures (very important for people like me who have holidays at fixed times throughout the year)

Few reasons - 1. I was travelling with a friend and requested separate sleeping arrangements and that didn't happen. We were often sharing a bed. 2. The excursion costs weren't clear and seemingly contingent on number of people committing. Also, not always the best price. 3. Dinner suggestion - we were sent to a restaurant that didn't exist. I did an Alaska trip previously with G Adventures and gave it a hands down 10.
