Have really enjoyed the two tours with G Adventures that we've taken. Really like the small groups and great guides with lots of options and activities.

It was a very nice Tour and the group guide was highly competent.

Had a great Trip and our guide Elisa wanted to make the tour perfekt and was very helpful to work out everything

I gave a 5 rating purely because I had a very positive experience in the past and the CEO Enrica was exceptional at her job. The tour itself has many issues that need to be addressed to be attractive for the younger population (under 65) to make me consider even recommending this to someone.

Too much waiting. Standing and Waiting for everything we did. Rooms were lousy except one. Super noisy at hotels?hotels were cold and no blankets. Slept with sheet only.

TERRIBLE hotel selection, especially in Naples (Nuovo Rebecchino). Only one hotel, Le Rocce, in Agerola, was good.

I love the informative CEO?s, the excursions were very well planned, and fun. This was my second tour with the company and I'm happy with where we went and the bonding during our meals together.

The hotel for the first night of our tour in Naples was terrible. It really started the trip on the wrong foot. My room smelled like sewage and I wasn't able to change it and the hotel was not a three star (I have travelled all over Europe, including Italy and can confirm). The location was in a very sketchy area of town. My friends, my husband and I as well as a number of others on our tour made alternate arrangements for the last night so we didn't have to stay at that hotel again. Our guide indicated that she made a complaint but G Adventures was not prepared to change locations. What was even more disappointing was we met another G Adventures group that said they were on the same tour and their accommodations were completely different and acceptable. Also, our tour guide was friendly, but not very knowledgeable. She slept on the tour buses or was on her mobile and her tours were subpar. Fortunately, I brought a Rick Steve's book that provided me with information about where we were going and the drives. Lastly, we were told that the Capri tour would be between 100-120 Euros and I received a quote from Mondo tours for 120 Euros. We opted to go with the group and were charged 150 Euros each. I am still not sure why. The boat was a fishing vessel and not the yacht that was advertised. Also, during our trip from Ravello back to our hotel the bus driver took an alternate route that lead us away from the wonderful scenery and through backroads (at one point we were on a highway heading back to Naples). This was an 1.5 plus drive, versus a 50 minute scenic drive we were advised we would get. Very disappointed in this trip and G Adventures. I had heard great things about this tour company and this wasn't a great experience.

The customer support, a fabulous tour guide, the small size of the group.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with G Adventures. Raffa was an outstanding guide in all areas - knowledge, compassion just as extremely good person. I hope he receives acknowledgment for being such an excellent employee. The only complaint I have about my experience was the hotel in Naples. I realize that the proximity to be close to the metro was important but the hotel was a disgrace. Staying there for two nights was unbearable. In fact my daughter and I paid for a hotel the last night. It was dirty everywhere-room, lobby, storage area for luggage, the employees were not accommodating and if you asked them a question they were very put out, the beds were so uncomfortable and the noise outside the rooms in the street was very loud. The breakfast was disgusting! I would strongly suggest that you find another hotel!

Well planned. Small group and varied ages and nationalities make this a desirable travel option.

I went with G Adventures because my friend had a great trip to Cambodia with them , however this time it was a different experience . I would have rated lower if I didn't already know that other trips are better and that our CEO was absolutely amazing . Our trip was meant to be rated a 3 for intensity which in our minds we thought we would be with people that were physically fit due to the hikes they would have to do. Instead we were on a tour (as a 26yr and 30yr old) with the majority 70yr old people . Whilst we are accommodating people that can get along with anyone , when you have an entire tour with 70yr olds your trip is not enjoyable as it is hard to find common grounds . We found ourselves almost parenting all of them with our CEO when it came to carrying their bags , getting menus as they were QR codes and getting frustrated with their inability to walk up smalls hills throughout. I believe that if an entire tour is 70yr olds that we should have been given the option to come or not come as we would have changed our tour, we understand that there is a 35yr or under however with a hiking we thought it would be a safe bet to be with a smaller age demographic . We strongly believe that the majority of the other people on the tour would not have been able to complete the hike and it was dangerous to let them be on the tour . Our CEO Enrica was amazing as she was faced with the biggest challenge of having people that were not fit for the tour, a massive age difference , boats breaking down and hikes being unable to be conducted due to rain , but would always find an alternative . She is personable, knowledgeable and passionate about the job . She is the only reason we stayed on tour .

I absolutely love G Adventures.com. I am always recommending to friends & family. The price is reasonable, staff amazing from booking the trip to interacting with the incredible CEO!

The best of Italy. The hotel in Naples was unacceptable. I would like my money back the nights we had to stay there. The worst part is I even stayed there a night before the trip started trusting that G Adventures pick an above average hotel. Then G Adventures lied to me twice about both my trips. First was told my Greece trip was sailing and before the trip was told it wasn't then my travel agent specifically said he wants a room by himself. Turns out you lied again. I had to share a room my entire trip with a complete stranger. I'm not happy.
