Itinerary
Day 1: Amsterdam
Day 2: Amsterdam/Berlin
Day 3: Berlin
Want to try something even cooler? Rent a bike and visit the now defunct Tempelhof Airport which doubles as a beautiful park space in the city. (A best-kept local secret if we do say so ourselves). At night lounge in the hostel or witness the vibrant nightlife Berlin is known for.
Day 4: Berlin/Prague
Afterwards, hit the road and arrive in Prague by early evening. Your day doesn't end here, gather as a group and go on a highlight walk with your cool CEO passing must-see places like, the TV Tower of Prague, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, and John Lennon's Wall, followed by a beer tasting to experience Prague's famous brews.
Day 5: Prague
Day 6: Prague/Vienna
Finish the day in Vienna where you'll get to know the city as a group on an evening highlights walk. Pass sites like St. Stephen's Cathedral, Rathaus, National Library, The Hofburg and much more. Later, kick back, relax, and have some laughs at your hostel.
Day 7: Vienna
Remember, we all need a little downtime during our travels, so if you need a break we get it. Grab a coffee, order a slice of mouthwatering cake and settle yourself in with your pals on a café terrace as the world moves on around you. Don't worry, you still have plenty of time to keep finding a few world-famous museums and indulge in typical Austrian desserts like strudel or Sacher Torte. Keep in mind your CEO just might know the best secret places that will really set your experience apart from the main crowd. Ask away!
Day 8: Vienna/Salzburg
Salzburg is up next, so don't forget to save some of that wanderlust energy! You'll go with the group on an orientation walk of the city. Wander the historic squares and quaint little side streets of Salzburg Old Town. Climb Festungsberg Hill to visit Hohensalzburg Castle, or find the birthplace of Mozart and meet up to go to the museum there.
Day 9: Salzburg/Munich
Spend time in Marienplatz, home to the Old and New Town Halls. Find the famous glockenspiel, or one of the many great beer halls, or the green dome-crested towers of the iconic Church of Our Lady. The vibe is totally up to you, have a pint, or two, or three!
Day 10: Munich
Day 11: Munich/Innsbruck
Day 12: Innsbruck/Venice
Day 13: Venice
The main city is small enough that you can walk it in several hours with the added bonus of getting those steps in. Explore the canals, relax in the small squares, and go cafe-hopping for coffee, pastries, wine, or all three, because why not? See Venice from the water on a gondola ride through the canals, run through the pigeons or people watch in St. Mark's Square, take an elevator ride up to the top of the Campanile Di San Marco for panoramic views of the city below. Your only real job today is to have a blast!!
Day 14: Venice/Florence
This evening happens to be perfect if you are looking to relax, eat some more (if you can), or recover from those food comas in your hostel before a quick highlight tour of the city.
Day 15: Florence
Day 16: Florence/Rome
The night is yours! Did someone say dance party?
Day 17: Rome

I had an excellent time on my trip with no issues. Would highly recommend to anyone that asks me.

I'm definitely likely to recommend this style of travel, there was just things that I was unaware of that I would let people know of.

It would depend on the person i recommend to if they like their trip to be planned but still have free time this is it for them if they want more planned activities maybe not

I think the trip was well organised in terms of transport and accommodation. The stress of finding a place to stay and in navigating to and from each hostel was taken off my hands thankfully! The convenience in terms of actually sorting out the logistics of the trip was a major positive as to why I'd score 8/10.

My overall experience was amazing

Just loved every minute of it

This method of travel is perfect for the newbie or up and coming traveller. Having autonomy to pick what you'd like to do in a place, but being able to step back from the tough tasks like travel and accommodation really allowed me to enjoy the places visited more freely. I took the mindset that this ?lots of places in little time? as a taster of Germany, Italy and Austria and felt that we had enough time to really engage with the ?must see? sites within each place. I'd also recommend it based upon the expertise used to find the ?off the beaten track places? that are usually the most special. For me, some of the best experiences came in day trips to rural German lakes and medieval towns.

I think this trip was great value for money in terms of accommodation & travel provided for the cost. The standard of the majority of hostels was great, the private bus between destinations made it a very easy and comfortable way to travel. Even the rail portions of the travel was as streamlined as possible, with G Adventures handling the reservations. Overall, I think that the money paid was justified for the standard of accommodation for 17 nights, and the basically stress free travel between destinations. The knowledge and enthusiasm of the CEO also added to the experience. I also think that style of the trip allows for as much or as little alone time/doing your own thing as you wish, and there is always the option of joining in with the main group (which also allows you to control your spending).

I really enjoyed the trip and travelling in a group. I got to meet so many lovely people and I think travelling around with a big group of people you really like and get along with was really special. I made some best friends on the trip and sharing all the special moments of the trip with them made the whole thing even more special and enjoyable. I would recommend G Adventures because I think it was a very organised and well-planned out trip with a lot of thought out into the route and I like the values of the company and the fact you promote more sustainable travel and put effort into improving communities that people visit on these trips.

Great experience, only a little bit of unexpected hassle. Would highly recommend.

We didn't stay in the best of areas. No one was ever on time by at least half an hour. We weren't given the best advice as to what was around each town in terms of stuff to do. Was a great time don't get me wrong. I've just had better tours for those reasons.

It is a great way to meet people and travel to many places in a small time frame with simple accommodation, but this may not be for everyone.

I loved all aspects of the tour. I just hated being in big crowds in busy areas which is something that is uncontrollable. But overall loved the experience
07/04/2023
I absolutely loved every minute of my trip. My CEO was wonderful and was very knowledgeable about all of the places we went to. The others on the tour were also lovely people and everyone got along well. Over all an awesome experience
