Excellent introduction to Havana and western Cuba. Our tour leader Yanet was well-organized, passionate about his country, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the island and its history. Jorge, our driver, carried our group of 10 safely and comfortably to each destination in a new small bus that had plenty of room.

Wonderful trip. Learned something at every stop. The people are friendly, the scenery beautiful. Take mosquito repellent and lots of $1 bills.

The 8-Day "Hola Cuba" trip with Intrepid was amazing!! It was very well organized, and informative! All the guides spoke English well, were very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to be inclusive and engaging. The local accommodation hosts were also very friendly and helpful. Several of the bus rides were long, but that is the price to pay if you want to see various areas of a country in a short period of time. Having said that, the bus was very nice, and the driver was outstanding! The Cuban people was also very friendly and happy to see and engage with Americans. Not surprisingly, the drinks and food were amazing! I highly recommend both Intrepid and the "Hola Cuba" trip!

My wife and I wanted to take a trip out of the country for our anniversary. We started seriously considering Cuba when we saw the variety of excellent activities on the Hola Cuba itinerary and understood how the tour would handle the extra logistics involved in US citizens visiting Cuba. Our expectations were vastly exceeded on both counts! The country is beautiful, fascinating, and a lot larger than we thought! Our tour leader, driver, and local guides were excellent and the tour size of 16 people was a great size for the tour. The tour handled more logistics than we could've anticipated, even in the midst of a fuel crisis. The tour enabled us to enjoy the experience without all the work involved in navigating the trip on our own. We are recommending Hola Cuba to all of our friends. This was our first travel tour and first experience with Intrepid. We are absolutely sold and are looking at all of Intrepid's fantastic tour options around the world for our next trips.

Amazing trip made better by a great guide and a fearless bus driver. Cuba would be very difficult to navigate on your own for first time travelers, and organizing all the activities we did, on your own, would be nearly impossible.

Hola Cuba's 9 day trip was really 7 as the first day began with orientation and dinner and the last day ended after breakfast. The tour leader and local guides provided the participants with a wide variety of activities and experiences to help understand the culture and history of Cuba. We felt safe and well cared for and were provided with most meals and beverages. The bus driver diligently managed the often bumpy roads and traffic. This trip required a lot of walking, stairs, and uneven pavements.

I felt like I learned a little bit more about the word and I'm grateful for that. I also saw some beautiful places and met some lovely people. I highly recommend this trip.

My Hello Cuba trip was a wonderful and unexpected eye-opener into the lives/challenges of present day Cubans, and the past history–much of which I was ignorant about. I learnt so much, and our guide, Ivan was superb. It was comfortable, well organised and had a wonderfully varied agenda.
