This includes the purchase of alpacas to provide a steady supply of wool, looms, and sewing machines as well as several training courses on production, sales and small business management. Activity - In the rural village of Cuyo Chico in the Sacred Valley, a group of families joined together to create a small business based on their traditional adobe ceramic crafts. Using clay from their surroundings, they mold bowls, plates, and all manner of decorations. Learn about the ceramics process as well as the traditional adobe brick-making that forms the basis of houses throughout the valley, all while taking in a spectacular view of the Pisac Ruins. After the demonstration, peruse the items for sale directly from the artisans in their shop.Activity - Contribute to sustainable tourism in Huchuy Qosqo, a small village of 65 families in the Sacred Valley, by eating at the Parwa Community Restaurant. This G Adventures for Good project empowered local Cusqueña women to start their own business in order to reduce the environmental impact of treks in the region. Planeterra provided $10,000 of seed funding for two young entrepreneurs to register their biodegradable products in order to sell them to the tourism industry. Very professional exceptional guide (Josep) and Assistant Guide (Reyes) who were passionate, knowledgeable and very friendly. If all G Adventures staff are this pleasurable, then you have a great company

I really enjoyed the Inca trail and that made up for a lot of it. I was blown away by the porters and how they carried all the stu so quickly. Also the mountain views were breathtaking. I however was really dissapointed it was sold as an 8 day tour. In my mind it should have been sold as a 4 day tour. The first 4 days there was a lot of hanging around and nothing really to do. The first day it was not made clear there was a city tour of Lima. Also (due to strike action which I know was not a fault of yours) it would have been better to have more communication and more alternative activities.
11/27/2023
I felt very well taken care of. I was pleased with the quality of food on the trek and the pleasantness of the staff.
11/25/2023
You don't need to think about organising anything, great chance to have authentic cultural experiences
11/23/2023
hotel accommodations, lack of communication about preplanned protests that lead to lack of activities
