I was apprehensive about going on a trip with any tour because I was concerned there wouldn’t be enough time to explore without the group. I also believed that I could plan a tour better than a tour ninja. I was completely wrong. Our tour ninja, Surya, was phenomenal. He allowed the right amount of time for guided group experiences and time to explore as people wanted. At various times he advocated for our group by asking people to not take out photos, getting us transportation when Uber wasn’t working, and gaining us access to unique experiences. I have a new found respect and appreciation for guided tours and I am already looking at my next place to travel. What I have realized is the people of India pride themselves on relationships and how they treat others. Surya clearly has strong trusted relationships all along the tour. He knew them by name and would go out of his way to genuinely interact with them. He is an exceptional tour ninja and just an all around exceptional man who I admire.

Surya was an amazing tour leader! I’ve not been on many organised tours but he made sure i would go again! He knew a lot about all the places we went and also told a lot of interesting stories. I can imagine the history of india is quite lenghty and complicated, but he made it understandable! Pesonally, i really liked that he made clear what we were doing each day, when we would need to leave/ how late we got somewhere, etc. He also gave recommendations for things to do in the free time, and gave us a lot of choice for certain things (like how late we wanted to leave). He also really helped with the people that wanted to sell us stuff or take a picture with us. It made me feel safer traveling . I did think we were given quite a bit of free time, so i would have liked a more packed itinerary. I did have the feeling the time spent in the bus was downplayed a bit. It was said one of the first bus rides would be the longest, , hours, but we’ve been doing multiple , hours +- rides. I did not like the overnight train.

Ive been in different group tours and everyone has being nice but Surya wow! No words to describe him, he is the nicest, super kind, explains details and the best information. He is always in a good mood and tries to makes us smile and feel comfortable. My group was of and definitely without surya I wouldn’t feel comfortable and happy as I did cause we were all so different from each other and he made me feel great, he took us beautiful pictures and capture the best moments. I think he is not only a tour guide, he is also a friend now. I was the most interested about history and he explained me more and answered all my questions and helped me cause my English is not the best. I will definitely travel again s cause he showed me that everyone become a family and they will helped you with everything the can and that they work to have the best travel ninjas… he also make India so light cause my family was worried about coming here cause it’s not clean, men, food, photos but surya was paying attention to everything so he was like a older brother. It’s amazing and feel so blessed he was my guide cause made India the best experienced ever… I didnt speak to my roomie and some were quite and mean sometimes cause I love pictures and videos and surya helped a lot, that’s what ive told my family and friends.

Surya is incredible! From the moment he started the group chat, I knew I was in for a treat. I have traveled with other tour groups before and Surya is above the rest. Surya is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and hidden gems of India. He made every moment of the trip memorable and engaging. The itinerary was well-planned, ensuring we got to experience the best of India without a moment to waste. I especially appreciated his attention to detail and passion for sharing the beauty of India with us. Surya is compassionate and thoughtful, making sure all guests feel at ease. He also has an incredible memory and makes sure you get exactly what you want and need. I highly recommend Surya to anyone looking for an enriching and unforgettable experience in India!

Suri was really great! He made us feel really safe and protected when locals would crowd around and try to take pictures. I always felt like we were getting the best of the best with everything he provided. He was really informative and answered any additional questions we had. Suri always had suggestions for local markets, restaurants, activities and tourist highlights to do during any free time we had He handled all of the tips which allowed us all to relax more and know that everyone was getting treated fairly. I would % book another tour with him as my guide
11/29/2024
Surya is a great guide! He is very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we all felt safe and comfortable while making our way through the jam-packed itinerary. Overall it is a brilliant tour and I had an amazing time!
11/29/2024
Had such an amazing time on this tour and Surya worked really hard to ensure this happened. Was always on hand to help us out or go the extra mile to ensure our trip was the best possible. On top of, this he worked really hard to make sure we felt safe, asking locals to stop taking photos ect when necessary and as the temperature was getting up to during the day he adjusted our times to ensure we were out of the sun for the hottest parts of the day. One of the main reasons i have enjoyed this trip so much is due to the culture and the people of india, and Surya was always very informative and able to tell us all the information about the place we were visiting and happily answer any questions we may have. On the whole would definitely recommend!
11/29/2024
Suri was a brilliant guide. He was very relaxed and attentive and made it feel like everything was possible. Any requests he handled and he always remembered specific things about each person, like what they liked to do and or what in particular they were interested in seeing. I forgot some medication and he helped me get some. Any time our group had an unusual request he tried to grant it for us. He was great at the markets and with the street hagglers, getting good deals for everyone. I was nervous about India but because we were with Suri I became much less nervous. He is quick to dispel any of the negative myths about India which made me appreciate the country more. He is very knowledgeable about India and you can tell he has a deep love for his country. It’s lovely to be shown around and told stories by someone who feels this way. He is great ambassador for India. Hope to do south India with Suri!

Surya was a great tour guide, he kept the energy high and was always willing to answer questions and be helpful when possible. He was also reassuring and helpful when I had an issue with my flight/suitcase at the start of the trip.
11/29/2024
Surya was kind, informative and very protective of the group. He insured we all felt safe and had a great time. Surya was able to give us a lot of knowledge about India and was extremely helpful answering any questions we had. Surya was a fun tour guide who was able to have a chat and a laugh while still being professional.
11/29/2024
The Day India Uncovered tour has been amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better leader for it than Surya. He has so much knowledge about every place we went to and was always willing to share and answer any questions we may have had. He made sure everyone felt safe which is so important and made us all at ease in awkward situations (like taking care of people taking photos of our group). Some highlights included the tiger safari in Ranthambore and of course, the Taj Mahal. Would thoroughly recommend and thank you to Surya for making the trip as fun, informative and amazing as it has been.
11/29/2024
Surya was an amazing tour leader! He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions people had. He was also very fun and always making sure we had a great time! The tour itself was so much fun, I had a great time

This is tour for me I did Sri Lanka last year with TT. Both times I had great guides, accom, transport and overall experience Very open to changing things up if the group had suggestions
11/28/2024
Very informative, shared his culture and accepting of all questions. Made time for activities the group wanted to add in. Encouraged us to have fun and looked after our safety.

Shivendra was an incredible tour guide. Very knowledgeable of the history surrounding the sites we visited along with general knowledge. He was also a lot of fun contributing to jokes along with being supportive on the tour during some low moments. This trip was very diverse with the many temples, forts and palaces visited but also bike rides, the hot air balloon and being lucky to see multiple tigers on safari. The two weeks sped by very quickly which is a testament to the action packed and enjoyable nature of the trip
11/28/2024
Had an amazing tour. Definitely worth the money! Amazing places I got to see and amazing hotels I got to stay in. Tour guide was amazing and bus driver was also great!
11/29/2024
Surya was an excellent tour guide/ninja! He knew so much about the history of all the areas we went to during our days, he was always helpful when we needed help finding ATMs/site seeing destinations and he was very funny and really easy to talk to! Despite it being particularly hot during the time we all decided to travel, he was very conscious of this and always made sure we had water and when possible could stay in the shade. Additionally, despite hearing from a lot of people I know about getting food poisoning whilst in India, Surya always picked excellent restaurants with good quality food which meant that we all managed to avoid illness! I had an excellent time in India and if all the other ninjas are as great as Surya, I would definitely book through this again!
11/28/2024
I had the most amazing time on my tour, I never thought I would experience India like this and it was amazing to learn so much and experience so many different things, and so see a completely different side of India. This is definitely not your standard Tour and it completly blew me away.
