Wander the ancient city of Petra (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), camp in the desert, visit the sacred St. Catherine Monastery and finish up among the souqs and pyramids of Cairo. As you travel this land of mighty pharaohs and biblical prophets, you’ll be greeted by the legendary hospitality of local Bedouin people in Wadi Rum and discover the underwater worlds that lie beneath the azure waters of the Red Sea.

- Join Bedouin locals at a desert camp in Wadi Rum for a night of traditional hospitality, good food and starry skies. You’ll learn about the Bedouin way of life and fall asleep to the eerie silence of the desert.
- Spend a whole day uncovering the majesty and mystery of Petra – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Follow your local leader down the narrow path of Siq for your first glimpse of the hand-carved Treasury.
- Lay back and take an effortless float in the super salty waters of the Dead Sea after visiting Moses’ Promised Land at Mt Nebo.

Had two excellent guides Ahmed and Moataz and they were excellent. Would recommend going on a tour as they are difficult countries to travel in (especially Egypt). Make sure you prepare for weather/walking. Tipping kitty is pretty much mandatory and you will need additional tipping money for restaurants/tourist sites etc

Had two excellent guides Ahmed and Moataz and they were excellent. Would recommend going on a tour as they are difficult countries to travel in (especially Egypt). An incredible trip that covered all the main sites in Jordan and finished in Cairo. Eyad and Yasser were knowledgeable, approachable and a lot of fun. Regarding the accomodation, if you’re used to staying in hostels you’ll have no problem. All accomodation in Jordan was air-conditioned and clean, with Egypt slightly below this standard. Overall, would highly recommend!

Did this trip to see petra but was introduced to the beauty of this country. Things in Jordan are more expensive than I thought but egypt makes up for it. Just haggle hard.

I would thoroughly recommend this Intrepid tour. It was fun and interesting. Despite tge conflict between Palestine and Israel we did not feel that our safety was compromised at any time.

My Jordan - Egypt trip was amazing. A brilliant itinerary and guide, with whom nothing was ever too much trouble. I saw all the sights and left with a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the region.

This tour was fantastic! Both tour guides had amazing knowledge of history, local culture and generally! The tour takes in the best sites of Jordan and Egypt and has a couple of chilled days in beautiful beach/seaside towns where you can snorkel or hike or whatever. I’d recommend you make sure to have all of Day 9 in Cairo to join the Pyramids of Giza and Egyptian Museum tour - with those on your tour doing the longer tour continuing in Egypt!

This tour was a fantastic way to see some incredible highlights of two amazing countries in a very short period. Be prepared - it’s a fast paced and packed itinerary, but it was an incredible experience!!

The trip is more Jordan. The main attractions of Egypt are not covered so just book either Jordan or Egypt as with express you will only see not every but the main bits of Jordan properly. So for your value for money just book 1 country to see properly if you cannot stay for the longer version of 3 weeks. Was overall a great experience though.

We loved this trip ! For us the main highlights were Petra and Wadi Rum, which are amazing. Additionally, the relax atmosphere in sunny beach town Dahab, where we enjoyed some amazing snorkeling, was a welcome resting point. Our tour guide Mohammad Suboh was excellent.

This trip did not disappoint! Jordan is a beautiful wild country, and intrepid has built this tour to show you the best of the best. I would only say, that I wanted more time in Jordan, another night in Wadi Rum and a chance to see Jerash. So go a couple days early and see Jerash and Amman. Getting to Egypt on the ferry is a long night, but snorkeling in Dahab and being in the Red Sea makes it with while. Our tour guides Husam and Sayed were amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with, very organized!

Travelers, be ware of your money, as we carry cash in those "cash" countries, never relax, large sum of money were stolen from my money purse. Local experience is valuable and enjoyable, the best food was in Nubean Homestay. Felluca ride is more than wonderful! Hotels were "what we paid for", don't expect much from basic accommodations, bring hair dryer if you use one. There were food poisoning and cold going around. I loved small group size!

5 star Laith and captain Ahmed are both amazing leaders and a real credit to intrepid. They really love their respected countries and are incredibly knowledgeable about both Jordon and egypt. Also will recommend that everyone does an intrepid tour of jordon and egypt, it's been an incredible experience, loved every second.
