Be prepared for some bumpy roads and stunning scenery from rice fields to sea views and mountains which make the road travel worthwhile. The different tribes and village customs are fascinating and another reason to explore more of diverse Indonesia.

Absolutely recommend this trip to anyone willing to see Indonesia from a more raw perspective. While the days and drives may be long, the wait is worth it at every stop. An absolutely unforgettable experience - leaving was like waking up from a dream, I didn't want it to end. Trips will never be perfect without a good group configuration and excellent guide. Thankfully, I had both. I'm so grateful for my guide Yohanes, who did everything and more to ensure we had an enjoyable trip. His knowledge of Flores was outstanding. Yohanes is unbelievably kind, if you needed something, nothing was too much to ask. Thank you for making this trip one I won't forget!

A very full and interesting trip with lots of variation suitable for all ages. Some long travel days but there were interesting stops along the way.

Fascinating, unique tropical island tour through unspoilt landscapes, with many local villages, rice terraces and waterfalls and full 2-day sailing in Komodo National Park the highlight. But compressed into 9 days means there is a lot of time spent in the bus as there is a lot of ground to cover. Suggest book pre-days in Moni / Kelimutu!

Yohanes, our group leader, helped us experience a great adventure during this trip. The best part of the trip was the last 2 days sailing, hiking, and snorkeling in komodo National Park. We were extremely lucky to see 6 komodo dragons, including a baby dragon. Go before the rest of the world finds out, and it gets crowded.

Great trip to an island in Indonesia that will become much more touristy soon so go now! Good mix of overland, hiking, and on the water.

This was a brilliant trip, seeing rural life throughout our journey across the island. Lots of unique experiences along the way. The 2 day boat trip was particularly amazing with so many activities to take part in over the 2 days. Our hike to the conical huts was sadly cancelled due to bad weather but our guide, Yan, created a brilliant alternative itinerary. We were looked after every step of the way and Yan, together with our bus driver Anus, was amazing at managing any eventualities! There are some long days of travel on some bumpy windy roads but the journeys are broken up by activities along the way. A really varied trip!

Incredible trip to explore part of Indonesia that is still developing for tourists, son many unique opportunities that you won’t find elsewhere.

What a delightful place Flores is. People are very friendly and welcoming. The scenery is spectacularly mountainous although more arid in the west. Be prepared for long days of travel on the comfortable bus, which due to the terrain, tends to travel at 30kph outside of towns. It is noticeably less tourist focused outside of Labuan Bajo. We have recommended additional time exploring village life. Some fascinating cultural experiences along the way and the overnight stay in the large, air-conditioned boat with spectacular snorkeling made for a great way to finish off the trip. Many thanks to our caring guide Yohanes, who was focused on making the most of our time together and sorted out all the logistics behind the scenes.

I had eight unforgettable days during the "Komodo and Flores Adventure" trip: our guide Yohanes, ten very enthusiastic travelers, the itinerary, and the weather were all in perfect harmony, as is fitting for Indonesia.
