Itinerary
Day 1: Naples
Welcome to Naples, home to the best pizza of the world. As your fellow travellers are arriving throughout the day, there are no planned activities until your group meeting at 6pm this evening, so check in to the hotel (check in time is approx 3pm) and enjoy the city.
Day 2: Naples/Sorrento
We head off by private transport to our accommodation, an agriturismo just outside of Sorrento. En route, visit the famed site of Pompeii, at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. After a tour with an expert local guide, there will be some free time to explore on your own before heading to our accommodation.
Day 3: Sorrento
Start off the day with a tour of the agriturismo to learn the history of the property and more about lemon cultivation. Later, take some time to explore further with free time.
Day 4: Sorrento
The path can be rough underfoot and a little exposed, but well worth it for the spectacular scenery and the chance to be so close to nature and "the Gods". The outstanding beauty of the Amalfi Coast can only be fully appreciated on foot.
The walk finishes in Positano where you will have time to explore the bustling resort if you wish. Take a scenic public boat ride back to Sorrento.
Wind down the day with a limoncello tasting before heading back to the agriturismo.
Day 5: Sorrento
For those looking to take a stroll around town, start at the Piazza Tasso to get a feel for the hustle and bustle of local life. Make your way to the Basilica, shop for handmade goods such as ceramics and lace-work, or stop at one of the lively restaurants around the square for a bite of Neapolitan fare (seafood, anyone?). Then head down to the marinas for some time by the sea.
Day 6: Sorrento
Choose to spend the day exploring the famous island of Capri. Hop on board the 'funicolare' to explore Capri Town's piazza. The Caprese salad is named after this town, and, of course, there is also locally produced limoncello, made with the island's lemons. Walk along the trails on the island, go swimming, or brush shoulders with the more well-off island inhabitants at fancy shops.
Day 7: Sorrento/Naples
This tour ends upon arrival at the Naples train station at approximately 11am. If you opt to stay at the agriturismo in Sorrento until checkout time at 11am, we will gladly help you to arrange any onward transport at your own cost. If departing from Naples, please book onward travel for no earlier than 2pm.

Very well looked after and enough variety for everyone to enjoy.

Some of your included days are just transportation days, so effectively there is only four days.

The G trips, which I have done many are fantastic, the accommodation, places and CEO/Guides are great as was Matteo (truly loved,y man), the only thing I struggle with is the customer service at VIP centre, the questions I ask are rarely answered in time, accuratly and the discounts said to be offered are always confusing, hence only a 6/10.... everything else is a 10, customer service lets this down.

It was a very good first experience in small group travel

I was impressed by the standard of the included trips and accommodation and Carla our CEO looked after us very well. My only reservation is I was the only English person on the tour with all Canadians!!

I recommend G all the time. I emphasize the small group, local knowledge of the CEO, care to support local businesses and people, and flexibility as reasons to choose G.

We have been independent travelers and this G Adventures was our first 'tour' so we weren't entirely sure what to expect. What we found was a tour that was designed to give you independence as well! Also, our host, Sylvia was full of positive energy.

This was our first time using G Adventures and we are so glad we did. Our guide, Matteo, was the best. He definitely gave us a great first time Italy experience.

Experience overall was great. Food was at best very basic. Accommodation was fine.
10/14/2023
Well I was disappointed with the food. I was expecting delicious home cooking from the lemon farm.__??? There was an absence of salads and we had pasta every night that I could have made! The main meals were not that tasty - some fatty meats. But to be fair, the appetizers were always great and the desserts were good too____
