Day 1: Cancún

Are you ready for an epic 18 days?! We're starting in Cancun! Caribbean Queens (and Kings of course) this adventure is calling you! We are driving straight into a dream. Cancun is close to the airport and ideal for easing into the Mexican way of life! Want to explore like a local? Wander over to Market 28, Plaza Las Americas, and Puerto Cancun to browse dozens of Mexican clothing boutiques and accessory stalls. In the evening, It's time for our welcome dinner where you can get to know your new travel friends aka TruFam, over dinner and a few Cervezas by the pool or on the beach. Start as we mean to go on TruFam!
2

Day 2: Cancún/Holbox

Destination Holbox! Famous for stunning beaches, tranquil vibes and crystal-clear waters. We'll catch a boat over and enjoy a chilled afternoon as a group. We can spend the afternoon getting to know each other and watch the sun set in one of the most gorgeous spots - get your cameras ready! This island is really something special and it's still one of Mexico's secret spots!
3

Day 3: Holbox

This morning is slower paced, take in the views, find the nearest smoothie bowl and relaxxx! You're in paradise after all! Today's agenda you ask? Well snorkelling and discovering the stunning cenotes of course! We'll visit Bird Island and then head over to the ‘'Eye Of The Water'' cenote, an epic large natural sinkhole with freshwater springs in the middle of mangroves! You have to see it to believe! Finally we're off to Passion Island and no this isn't Mexico's version of Love Island...Next, it's time to hop back onto our boat and enjoy a few beers or rum punch if you fancy it (or your drink of choice, you do you boo.)
4

Day 4: Holbox/Mérida

Beaches - Tick! Next up is some culture. We are off to one of the seven wonders of the world, The Mayan Site of Chichen Itza. We'll have a guided tour to learn about the amazing history of the Mayan civilisation. After crossing this landmark off our bucket list, it's time to head to Cenote Yokdzonot. Once we've had an afternoon splashing about, floating on our backs and looking up to an unreal view we'll head off to Merida, the Yucatán capital. This evening we'll go on an orientation walk around the city to see all the spectacular sights.
5

Day 5: Mérida

Today is a Tru Adventure! Get ready to explore slightly outside of Merida, cycle between three stunning cenotes, with a spot of lunch along the way - swimming + food = the perfect day! After we've spent our day in the Cenotes, we'll head back to main town Merida to chill out for a few hours, before it's time to get ready for our evening of Tequila Tasting!!! We'll head out to sample some delicious local food, or what we like to call, the ultimate Mexican feast! Tacos & burritos galore! After we're all tequila'd out, why not try out some salsa dancing at one of the many bars dotted around Merida! Taco'bout the perfect day!
6

Day 6: Mérida/Playa del Carmen

It's our second to last day in Mexico - but don't worry this adventure is only just getting started! This morning we'll wave goodbye to Merida and set off towards Playa del Carmen. This area is less touristy but it still has some great nightlife, amazing swim spots and lovely beach bars too! Gosh this is the life isn't it...
7

Day 7: Playa del Carmen

It's check out day for some people on the tour who aren't joining us for the rest of the adventure! We, however, have another day to explore Playa Del Carmen and perfect our tan and paddleboarding skills. We'll also be welcoming some new faces throughout the day today - new friends! Yay!
8

Day 8: Playa del Carmen/Caye Caulker

Today we're headed to Belize! Grab some snacks and get ready to gaze out the window because it's an awesome journey over to our second country of the trip. Our first stop in Belize is Caye Caulker and what an epic place to start our time in Belize! Caye Caulker is famous for the incredible marine life, the 'go slow' rhythm of life and vibey Caribbean bars. We'll arrive late afternoon and go on an orientation walk to find the local hotspots and learn more about the communities of Belize.
9

Day 9: Caye Caulker

Rise and shine! Welcome to the first full day in Belize! Get your snorkel ready (we say that, but we'll have it ready for you) cause we're spending our day exploring the second most important coral reef of the world - fingers crossed we see a reef shark! In the afternoon we'll booze and cruise back to the island dancing with reggae vibes. We're on the look out for fish (obvs), sea turtles, stingrays and nurse sharks - go pros at the ready people!
10

Day 10: Caye Caulker

It's our final full day in Caye Caulker so we have a free day where you can tick off more things on your to do list. Luckily for us our to-do lists mainly consist of sunbathing, snorkelling and seeing as much of the local natural beauty as possible...sounds dreamy right? If you fancy venturing to the Blue Hole your tour leader can arrange this for you and if you don't know what it is...google it..trust us you mind will be blown! It's going to be 10/10 day whether you choose to take it slow or 100mph - it's up to you!
11

Day 11: Caye Caulker/San Ignacio

Are you ready for our next location? San Ignacio here we come! Get your headphones ready or your best hypothetical questions (Would you rather speak every language in the world or be able to speak to animals? - that kind of vibe!) Once we get to San Ignacio we're going cave tubing straight away! Cave tubing is so much fun it's basically a lazy river on steroids, whilst IN a cave - now that's a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
12

Day 12: San Ignacio

Want to explore like a true local? Good cause we are going to be hopping on a chicken bus. Never heard of one...basically if Chappel Roan was a bus - she'd be a chicken bus. In the afternoon we will visit the local Women's Co-op. Here we'll learn all about the Mayan way of life, see how they make their amazing pottery and even have a go at making our own. After we have worked up an appetite they will kindly cook us an amazing dinner. Get ready to taste some more of the amazing local food!
13

Day 13: San Ignacio/Flores

Say goodbye to Belize cause we're off to Guatemala! As with all journeys we'll break it up with some exploring along the way. This one is super special because it is in one of the most beautiful National Parks. We'll stop off at the Mayan Tikal Ruins explore and walk through the ruins of one of the biggest Mayan cities in history. Then it's onwards to Flores and an early night as we have a flight to catch tomorrow!
14

Day 14: Flores/Panajachel

Cabin crew prepare for take-off! Yes, that's right we're catching a flight early today over to Guatemala City! Once we land it's only a short transfer over to Lake Atitlan. We'll be staying overnight in Panajachel. We could describe how amazing this place is but we'd never do it justice - just google it! Prepare to have your breath taken away. We'll have an afternoon to explore the local area, your tour guide will be on hand to give you some ideas!
15

Day 15: Panajachel

If you've been on a Tru tour before, you'll know we LOVE a homestay! We're a social bunch, so for us there's nothing better than being able to get to meet the locals, learn about how they live, get to live how they live and of course leave with even more BFFs - it's also always a bonus if they have a four-legged friend! We'll head over to the homestay by a boat taxi - beats the subway any day! In the afternoon, we'll be taken on a tour around the district known for its vibrant colours, amazing energy and stunning street art! This is the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs from the trip.
16

Day 16: Panajachel/Municipio de Antigua Guatemala

We are travelling to Anitgua this morning - after a busy day yesterday you can just relax in the minivan and watch out the window at the insane landscapes we'll pass by! We'll stop for lunch and have some free time before the main event for today. Get your dancing shoes ready, it's time to salsa! We don't care if you have no rhythm, it's time to throw yourself into this and soak in the vibes - you'll be like Patrick Swayze in no time! Then it's the moment you've all been waiting for... it's B.N.O time! That's a Big Night Out of course! After a few Quetzalteca's you'll be on the table salsa-ing the night away.
17

Day 17: Municipio de Antigua Guatemala

Feeling a little fragile after yesterday? Well, nothing clears the air and a headache from last night more than a chilled walking tour around the local area of Antigua. We'll visit markets, architecture, viewpoints and learn more about the history. It's also our final full day as a group. We're not crying you are! We'll spend our last day soaking in Guatemala's 10/10 vibes, taking some more group photos and planning our reunions of course!
18

Day 18: Municipio de Antigua Guatemala
