Itinerary
Day 1: Paris
Tonight, you won't need to go far for Paris to sweep you off your feet, because after all, it is the City of Love. Head to your hostel's bar with your CEO and group to kick back and grab drinks in celebration of the first day of your grand adventure.
Day 2: Paris
Explore and discover the “je ne sais quoi” of the City of Lights. Paris has something for everyone and you can use your day here to picnic under the Eiffel Tower, explore the outstanding museums and churches, float down the Seine on a river cruise or people watch at one of the charming cafés.
Day 3: Paris/Interlaken
Day 4: Interlaken
Day 5: Interlaken
Day 6: Interlaken/Rome
Opt to check out the famous Roman sites from times past like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican and Pantheon. Opt to wander the cobblestone streets, or relax in a piazza with an espresso. Don't miss the amazing Italian food, wine and nightlife.
We recommend pre-purchasing advance entry tickets for popular attractions such as the Sistine Chapel, Villa Borghese, and the Colosseum to avoid waiting in long queues on the day of your visit.
Day 7: Rome
Today, new travellers may join you for the rest of the adventure. You are welcome to join them at a group meeting this evening, followed by an optional dinner.
Day 8: Rome/Florence
Explore a different side of Rome on a walking tour led by a migrant guide and see Rome through the eyes of a recent newcomer to Italy.
Leave Rome behind and head towards Florence. No city can boast of such artistic richness as this romantic Renaissance city. Food, art, culture, and beautiful views put this outstanding Italian city in a field of its own. The list of things to see and do in Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside is unlimited, be it art, nature, architecture, history, or food and drink!
Day 9: Florence
For a truly local experience, indulge your inner gastronome on a culinary tour of the city. Opt to pre-book the "Florence Food Tour" on the checkout page ahead of time, to include this optional on your tour.
Day 10: Florence/Venice
Opt to take a ride in a gondola, pre-book a food tour, visit Piazza San Marco, or discover the magic behind Murano glass.
Day 11: Venice/Ljubljana
Day 12: Ljubljana/Vienna
Day 13: Vienna
After tiring yourself out with sightseeing, pop into a café, a Viennese institution. For a slice of local life, the cafés are good places to relax and get your bearings while deciding what to do next. A delicious café experience involves Gugelhupf, one of Vienna's specialty cakes, and a cup of Melange (half coffee, half milk).
Day 14: Vienna/Budapest
To gain deeper insight on local history, opt to pre-book the "Budapest History Walking Tour" on the checkout page ahead of time, to include this optional on your tour.
Day 15: Budapest
Today, new travellers may join you for the rest of the adventure. You are welcome to join them at a group meeting this evening, followed by an optional dinner.
Day 16: Budapest/Krakow
With the Danube River dividing old town, Buda, from the newer area, Pest, there is plenty to see and do.
Day 17: Krakow
Opt to visit Rynek Główny - Europe's largest medieval market square; savour a traditional Polish breakfast (kielbasa, yum), or sit back with a coffee and a slice of Poland's famous cheesecake (sernik babci) at one of the many cafes in the area. Then, walk it off with a stroll uphill to marvel at the impressive Wawel Royal Castle.
Day 18: Krakow/Prague
Imagine a city lined with Bohemian art, beer halls offering the finest brews in the region, tranquil gardens, and ornate chapels - it's no wonder why visitors fall in love with this place. Take the afternoon and get lost.
Day 19: Prague
Enjoy all Prague has to offer. Opt to visit the famous Charles Bridge, the clock tower in the main square or a traditional Czech beer hall with serious helpings of meat and potatoes.

Loved most of it! The only issue I had was having to check out and back into the hostel if the hostel we had new travellers joining onto the group. it's a massive inconvenience and takes away the benifits of staying in a place for more than one night (which doesn't happen often on a fast paced trip) as you have to pack and check out and repack.

Can be fast paced, didn't enjoy the fact you have to check in and out when you continued on a trip

It gave my partner and the flexibility to travel as a group while being able to do our own thing

Pros: fun to meet lots of people, tough to organize something this fast paced on your own, great having a leader who can provide you with ideas. Cons: hostel dorm sleeping is exhausting after a week or two, you are more prone to illness, and you will still pay quite a bit out of pocket to do activities in addition to the cost paid to g.

Catching public transport everywhere and not knowing what time we?re going to leave and arrive at places until the day of made it hard to book

Everything was very organized. Some of the hostels could?ve been nicer. The guides did an amazing job communicating different activities or areas to see.

G Adventures truly gives you the unique experience of being able to travel by yourself, but having to never be alone. You don't have to worry about finding a travel buddy back home and co-ordinating budgets and vacation time because you will meet like-minded people like yourself on any G Adventures tour.

The tour did not in any way replicate how it was 'sold'. I asked multiple questions throughout the process regarding rooming, ages of people, guides, travel style, etc. - none of these were answered correctly. I ended up on a trip that was WAY overpriced for the service and accommodation delivered. The guide during the first portion of my trip (2-weeks) was also unprofessional, rude, and made me want to leave the trip.

Everything was really well organized

I chose six out of 10 because for this particular trip because it was enjoyable however it was also a lot of physical work and a quick paced schedule. Even for those that are between 18 and 39 years old it was a bit much. I like the itinerary, however it was more sleeping in the hostels and having to walk to train stations and boarding trains with all of our luggage that made it most exhausting.

The first CEO, Dayana was extremely professional, passionate, organized, smart. She never let anyone down or never let us worry about absolutely anything. Everyone is the group agrees how wonderful Dayana?s performance was. However unfortunately the second CEO Sylvia, was extremely disorganized. She would mood the train or bus if we wouldn't follow up with her. She was all the time smoking. Never gave us an orientation. She really gave us a hard time.

I loved my trip and G offered more than I was expecting. However, the guide really makes the trip, and for the last third of my trip I had a disappointing guide. Because I had one amazing guide and one bad it is hard to know what to expect on another trip with G.

Traveling in a group with people your own age is really fun and adventurous. it's nice to bond with people in a different place. The only reason I docked a point is because I would also recommend solo travel for certain people.

There were some hiccups at the beginning of my trip but things got better once the trip went on.
