Itinerary
Day 1: Paris
Tonight, you won't need to go far for Paris to sweep you off your feet, because after all, it is the City of Love. Head to your hostel's bar with your CEO and group to kick back and grab drinks in celebration of the first day of your grand adventure.
Day 2: Paris
Explore and discover the “je ne sais quoi” of the City of Lights. Paris has something for everyone and you can use your day here to picnic under the Eiffel Tower, explore the outstanding museums and churches, float down the Seine on a river cruise or people watch at one of the charming cafés.
Day 3: Paris/Interlaken
Day 4: Interlaken
Day 5: Interlaken
Day 6: Interlaken/Rome
Opt to check out the famous Roman sites from times past like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican and Pantheon. Opt to wander the cobblestone streets, or relax in a piazza with an espresso. Don't miss the amazing Italian food, wine and nightlife.
We recommend pre-purchasing advance entry tickets for popular attractions such as the Sistine Chapel, Villa Borghese, and the Colosseum to avoid waiting in long queues on the day of your visit.

- Optional activities/tours

The trip was so well organised. The itinerary was excellent and there were extra tips given for each day. Our guide Helena was superb, extremely welcoming and really helpful. The cities we visited were fabulous and there was an excellent balance of activities and relaxation periods. The travel from city to city was seamless and so well organised. Helena informed us in detail every step of the way. The amount of people in the group was perfect.

I didn't find there was much value in the G Adventures tour for myself. Pretty much all that was provided was housing, transportation and the guide. I found our CEO to be most helpful when transferring from place to place but this easily could have been managed without her in places as big as Paris and Rome and with just a bit more effort in Switzerland. There were really no events scheduled or any access to lesser-known attractions/events/activities granted by this tour. In fact, when I and my family members emailed ahead of time to ask if we could book any tours ahead of time, we were told that booking when on the trip would be adequate. Unfortunately many things were sold out by the time the trip started including skip the line tickets to the eiffel tower, colosseum, vatican city. In switzerland, paragliding, canyoning were extremely difficult to book and some people did not get to do their activities of choice. If we had been traveling without G Adventures we would have had this all booked well before the trip. The hostels were subpar in Paris and Rome and there was not much flexibility in booking them. In Rome, there were no seats on 3/4 toilets and the fourth one was broken. Bathrooms were co-ed, but the shower doors were glass, and only translucent from the mid chest area to the upper thigh level, so we had to have someone stand guard at the door when someone was showering. In Paris, the rooms were extremely small, and not at all like the photos on the website. It would have been better for my group had we booked a private room for all of us instead of 5 separate individual bunks in shared rooms, so we were split up. Our CEO Diana was nice, and very responsive on our group chat. However, I did not find she was very present day to day. It would have been nice if she presented a low-cost activity to join her in, while we were in Interlaken. Other than organizing supper on one day, we (my family group) did not see her at all the entire time in Interlaken. This trip was good for my younger cousins who were with me because they enjoyed the group dynamic and doing things together. However, for anyone who has ever traveled alone or feels comfortable navigating a large city that largely caters to tourists, I would recommend against booking this trip as it simply didn't offer much value.

The fact that G Adventures plan the logistics side of things. However, the value of the guide very much depends on where you are travelling. I wouldn't recommend doing a guided tour in Europe, as the advice/guidance I received from the G Adventures guides was minimal at best. Their job is simply to get you to your hotel and on the train - which is easy enough to do if you have mobile data.

This was my first G Adventures and I've only heard good things, but this style of adventure (18 to 30-something) we ended up picking, I would not recommend

Great tour guide , excellent way to meet new people.

I loved my experience. It was so beautiful experience ever. Daya was the most amazing and fun CEO! The big nights out were awesome! Only thing I would say is I wish the tour finished later as I only got like half a day in Rome. Maybe make it a little longer. Overall the best first solo trip ever! I got to meet some lovely people from different countries__ 100% recommended G Adventures to everyone I know who was thinking about it__

I was pleased with the tour guide and age group.

I knew that I would not enjoy hostel accommodation, but I selected the tour anyway because of other travel logistics related to my visa and vacation date. However, I do believe our CEO for the trip was professional, and if i am going on another tour next time, I am likely to pick G Adventures again.

Very nice CEO and beautiful places included in the tour

This was the easiest way to go from wanting to travel to somewhere and getting in a plane. I didn't have to research which cities to go to, an itinerary, research how to travel in the new city, or book the sleeping arrangements. I just had to show up. I appreciated that we looked like 16 friends on a quest for adventure. Instead of looking like drones/children like the ones we passed with their flags, stickers, and mic',d up devices

I enjoyed my trip and would recommend. it's great for solo traveling and seeing lots of country while making new friends.

Pierluigi Cova was a perfect CEO for this trip, as he had provided comfort in traveling to new places, along with carrying himself in a very professional and responsible manner. He was very precise in communicating with the entire group for specified meet-up times and so on. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having the best time, including myself for my birthday. I have 0 complaints other than the trip ended too soon and I wish I could have continued on with some of my fellow travelers. Pierluigi deserves the highest remarks in all categories as he shows much passion and care for his job.

Great for someone travelling on their first trip and don't want to think too much about organising tickets and planes.

I had a great time on this trip and it was ideal for my preferred way of travelling
