My guide Bastian, who is local for the Nape Lodge Amazon Stay really made my trip. He’s wonderful and is a wealth of knowledge. He also has a genuine want to connect with his clients.

Worth the trip, I saw a lot of fantastic wildlife but be aware if travelling alone, guide is very overly familiar and can be inappropriate. There are a lot of mosquitos and very hot and humid, it’s quite an intense experience.

The Amazon jungle, wow what a experience. The lodge was lovely, you felt really emersed in the Amazon jungle. The wildlife was incredible along with the varieties of jungle plants. Our guide Bastian, was the real life jungle book boy. He knew everything about the Amazon jungle. He was so very helpful and ensured our safety at all times.
