Giscard was a great tour leader and showed us the best activities and restaurants in each town/city. He worked well in getting information across to our small yet challenging group due to other group members falling ill, he went above and beyond to help them. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide and wish he had been the guide/leader on all the activities and tours.

Wow that was a journey and a half! I have had such an enjoyable time in Peru thanks to my guide and the activities that Intrepid were suggesting for each of the destinations. I have loved the whole experience and would recommend spending about 21 days in Peru with the trip code that I did so that you can really absorb the culture and the information provided by the guide. Basic experience may not be for everyone, but through this I was able to understand the mindset of the locals and their perception of Peru. I understand that sometimes Peru can look scary to some from social media or from the news but from first hand experience, I can vouch that Peru was one of the best destinations I've been to. There is so much beauty to be explored it is definitely worth while!

Amazing varied tour with an amazing and knowledgeable guide (paul) which gave me a deeper understanding of Peruvian culture

The trip is very flexible and with some inclusion but the altitude can be very hard to deal with specially if you planning to do the hike to Machupicchu. Their tour guide were so knowledgeable and if you have Manny as your tour guide your trip is guaranteed to be the best with great experience .

I would 100% recommend this trip to absolutely anyone seeking an authentic version of Peru and real adventure. You will learn so much culturally and historically that allows you to embrace Peru wholeheartedly. Although it is very intense with lots of travelling and hiking packed in to each day, this is a once-in-a-lifetime holiday you should not miss! Review submitted 10 Aug 2023

Absolutely epic trip but you need to be ready for it. It’s much more of an adventure than a holiday. It’s full of breathtaking places but it’s pretty rough and tumble and fast paced. Excellent bang for your buck and a truly life changing experience if you’re willing to take it on.

Never expected that Peru has so much to ofer besides Machu Picchu. Such a beautiful and versatile country with incredible and mysterious history. Intrepid leaders represent the soul and passion of this majestic country.

An enjoyable trip. Giscatd our guide was exceptional. We really enjoyed the varied activities.

This trip was absolutely amazing! There is so much more to Peru than Macchu Picchu. Our main guide, Giscard, was so knowledgeable….he knows EVERYONE, has great rapport and relationships all over the country, and is truly made this an epic adventure. In addition, I got to hike the Inca Trail with my “shero”, Tina, the first female Inca Trek Guide! I will definitely be doing more trips with Intrepid.

There is long bus journeys but the buses were very comfortable and our leader and guides were very good . I would suggest this trip for the ones who would like to do the hike in Machupicchu because it gave you enough days to acclimatize. The trip also has lots of free time so you can pick some extra activities to do if you would like it .
