The Premium Peru tour provides TWO visits to Machu Picchu, other inspiring Inca sites (Sacsayhuaman and Ollantaytambo), an optional 1 day Inca Trail trek, all in comfortable accommodation, with good food options and enthusiastic, knowledgeable tour leaders and specialist guides. Variety is provided by visits to Lima and the Amazon rainforest. All the arrangements worked well and the organisation was thorough and professional.

This was our first trip with Intrepid but it won't be the last! Our guide, Luis Gonzales, was absolutely wonderful. We felt safe and gained a vast amount of knowledge thanks to Luis. Most of our group agreed that one of the best days was when we spent lunch with a local family and we were able to visit with local rural artisans. Luis was proud to show us his country but especially his city Cusco. His excitement and respect for the places we visited was contagious. In fact, all of the people we dealt with were kind and helpful. Our only issue was that one of the accommodations wasn't quite up to our expectations on a "premium" itinerary. Our guide did a wonderful job of making sure we knew what was coming next, how to prepare, and what options we had once we were there. Anything we needed was taken care of with efficiency. I had never been to S. America, but after this trip, I can't wait to go back!

Awesome trip to a beautiful country. Places visited and activities were all great. Wonderful trip leader (knowledgeable, friendly and helpful). You need to be physically fit to enjoy Machu Picchu visits. Best food in the world. Highly recommended.

One of the best trips I've ever been on! Our group leader, Renzo, was very knowledgeable and made the trip stress-free for us. Peru is beautiful, the food was some of the best I've ever eaten, and the itinerary was fast-moving but excellent. Loved the Amazon lodge.

Our premium trip to Peru was simply amazing! Our guide Luis was excellent- so knowledgeable, helpful, kind, funny, and taught us so much about Peru. My two favorite parts of the trip were the jungle experience and the 1-day hike to Machu Picchu. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and it surpassed our hopes! Thank you!

A great way to see all the major, bucket-list highlights of Peru in comfort and with the best guide imaginable. This is a once-in-a-lifetime type of trip, staying in the Amazon and seeing Machu Picchu, and Premium Peru with Ale Vega made it unforgettable.

I am very happy with how well-organized and well-managed our Ultimate Perú trip was! This trip has a great itinerary with a little bit of everything - big city, Amazon jungle, historical cities and places, and the star attraction Machu Pichu! Our trip leader Norma Caller was excellent - very well-organized, always on to of everything and clear communication of plans each day! Would recommend Intrepid trips to anybody traveling to Peru!

The trip was well organised from stat to finish. Our personal guide was terrific throughout. She was very friendly, approachable and always had an answer for any questions/concerns we had while away. Each location had the right number of days and had the correct balance between activities and free time. I would highly recomend the trip for anyone who wants to experience a small part of Peru.
