This trip with Intrepid was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The places we visited were absolutely stunning, and I got to share it all with an amazing group of people who I really connected with — something I’ve struggled to find in everyday life. There were a few moments where things felt a bit unorganised, especially when it came to knowing the daily plan. That said, I always felt safe, and the overall experience was incredibly rewarding. The accommodation was comfortable, the trip felt good value, and I loved that Intrepid made an effort to travel responsibly and support local communities. I left feeling mentally recharged, inspired, and grateful — and I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for something real, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Real Southern Africa trip was amazing! Our crew was great and super helpful. The group was young and everyone got on very well. Itinerary needs some changes though, more nights in Hwange and Kruger and skip Big Cave camp, either completely or stay in Bulawayo so people can experience the town as well.
