Wonderful trip, great sights!!

would give a 10, however, I had a personal bad experience with one of the other group members who insulted me many times. It has nothing to do with the trip quality itself - the trip was AMAZING - but this other traveler',s comments made me cry and unfortunately, that is now one of the main events I will remember from the trip. My main recommendation for any friend or family member interested in this style of travel would be to spend the money on a separate room if traveling solo since there is a real chance you will run into someone very mean and then have to spend the rest of the trip very close to them if you both share a room. Thankfully, my tour group leader, Erica Snook, was the absolute BEST and she even apologized on behalf of the other tour group member who insulted me and made me cry. If it wasn't for Erica',s very kind words of comfort to me, I would have probably rated this trip even lower. Again, I'm giving a lower score ONLY because of this other tour group member. Please know that I LOVED everything else about the tour, including every person in the group, except the sociopath.

The best element of the trip was the wonderful CEO (Myles) who will go out of his way to make everyone happy. An absolute super star. For example one day I asked Myles to open the trailer for me because I had dressed too warm and I wanted to change to a T-shirt, that is, despite Myles telling us twice the day before that it would be very hot. Bless him, he didn't flinch and gave me this big smile and opened the trailer for me, climbed in it to get my suitcase. Said no problem. The other positive points definitely the itinerary, the accommodation and the food options. The only thing I would suggest needs improvement is the room sharing, that is a no-no really with grown ups. It was the source of much fuss and change of room mates during the week. It is just not possible that people will get along about the temperature of the AC, the noise from playing their phones, the snoring etc. G Adventures need to offer a cheaper single room option that could be attained by booking cheaper hotels. Personally I would say some of my room mates have put a damp on my trip, our CEO spent a considerable amount of time to sort out room arrangements and really this needs to be looked into. The other thing is the start of the trip, the basic information about where and when we were meeting on the first day was impossible to get and very stressful

it's a great way of making new friends and seeing a new place with all the hassle taken care of.

I've been on two G Adventures trips now and have booked a third. It really takes the stress out of traveling and is a great way to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.

I had such a fun time on this trip and got to see so many amazing things that I probably otherwise would not have seen on my own
08/14/2024
CEO was unprofessional and rude
07/24/2024
We would do it again as we loved beeing part of a group and not having to do everything by ourselves (e.g. driving)
07/24/2024
The sites included

I would generally encourage this style -- but it would depend on the person asking. Not everyone I know would fit this.

G takes care of the transportation and accommodation logistics. As a solo female traveller is a safer option too

Places visited were great, as was the tour guide. Could have used a bit more free time since the driving time was extensive, The meals provided by G Adventures consisted of breakfasts already provided by the hotels or lunches of make your own cold cut sandwiches.

I've had two G Adventures trips and both have been flawless - experienced, knowledgeable professionals are able to provide a trip you could never pull off alone.

Small group well-executed travel at a reasonable cost.

Will is a great CEO! But we could?ve used a slightly bigger bus.
