Great way to meet new people

It's similar to other travel companies and I like the idea of organized group travel.

I would recommend this company because it takes a lot of the stress out of travel. You can simply focus on what you want to do in each place without the stress of picking where to stay or figuring out transportation. Also it allows solo travellers the opportunity to make friends and participate in activities with others while also allowing them to go off and do their own thing if they wish.

I have done a lot of travel over the years and tue absolute and sole reason I would recommend the trip is for Barbara our CO. I would be specifically recommending that friends and family request Barbara

I overall had a great experience throughout my trip. My CEO was very patient and personable, she provided great pointers for local activities and dining for every stop of the way, making it much easier for me to actually enjoy my trip without having to spend too much time researching while on the go. The members making up the tour group itself were all very kind and fun-loving as well.

You easily make friends and share the best experiences with people that you wouldn't usually hang out with.

Room for improvement. No time offered for Rome or in lisbon

I think the formula of G Adventures is the perfect balance between the security/social experience of a group and the freedom of doing the activities you want.

The transports are not the best and there is not a lot of included activities. The hostels were sometimes in weird locations.

Tour Guide, beautiful locations

Overall had a fantastic experience with G Adventures. Seeing lots of different places was a great way to travel and I found G Adventures overall to be organised, efficient and communicated clearly. The 18 to 30 somethings option is a really good way of travelling with people in a similar age group and sharing experiences. One or two minor points - a couple of the hostels weren't as good as the rest and some improvementd could be made to the trip structure (will detail in subsequent questions) but overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Carlos the tour guide was brilliant, the mix of people on the tour was great. Out of the companies I've used this seemed the best organised

The overall experience was great. The small groups were perfect.

The choices of hostel is subpar.no elevator too small. Not worth what i paid for. The transfer to and from the hostel is often chaotic either by walking or public transportation, with a suitcase it is physically demanding. I paid taxis and ubers personally because i can't deal with it. No communication on what is the exact itinerary is so i can't plan ahead about the attractions to see. I missed out on a lot of attractions because tickets are sold out. CEO can't share info about the historical places because they are not technically tourist guides. The actual redeeming positive thing about this trip are the CEOs who tried their best to give a wonderful experience despite the poor structure of the trip. In conclusion, i could have done this trip on my own with far more better outcome. Other guests with me on trip, share the same sentiment.

Loved my experience with G Adventures!

I don't know if this style of travel is a fit for everyone, but it was a great fit for me, that's why I gave an 8/10.

G Adventures provide good quality holidays, I like the ethical principles of the company and that it connects you with like minded travellers in the same age group with similar interests. They offer a range of travel experience options to suit different holiday options. However I normally book an organised group tour to minimise the stress and organisation so that you can relax and enjoy the holiday more and there were a few areas that were poorly planned and could be improved upon.
