Itinerary
Day 1: Athens
Day 2: Athens/Northern Cyclades
While in the Cyclades, stroll through the markets of Syros, finding countless treasures and must-grab deals along the way. Visit the stone lion on Kea and make sure to stop in at a family-owned silver shop before watching the sunset. Kythnos offers a special treat of seeing the sunrise while soaking in local hot springs.
Another favourite among travellers is a stopover in Hydra. Take a local “taxi” (donkey ride) to see the sights of this charming island where there are no cars allowed. It's not hard to see why Hydra has inspired painters and writers the world over.
Gaze at the churches and temples of Aegina, immersing yourself in history. Wander through the local fish market to truly appreciate your meal at the tavern.
Day 3-6: Northern Cyclades
Possible Island stops include: Syros, Kea, Kythnos, Hydra, Aegina.
Day 7: Northern Cyclades/Mykonos
Day 8: Mykonos
Spend the day exploring Mykonos and meet back at 5pm for an important group meeting with your new Chief Experience Officer (CEO), skipper, and the other group members.
Day 9: Mykonos/Cyclades
While in the Southern Cyclades stroll through the "most elegant square in Greece" in Syros. Head out on an optional all-day adventure to discover the best Naxos has to offer: the Temple of Dimitra, a microbrewery, views of Mt Zeus, and a fresh meal at a local tavern.
Uncover the beauty of the Venetian ruins in Paros before going cave exploring in Antiparos. While on Ios relax on famous Manganari beach and don't forget to visit Homer's tomb. Walk and hike through the trails and paths of Sifnos before stopping at a local ceramic workshop.
No trip is complete without wandering around the breathtaking cliffside city of Hora, enjoy cocktails while the sun sets over the whitewashed buildings that scatter the landscape.
On arriving in Santorini, enjoy the white-washed village scenes of this volcanic, paradise island. Be sure to catch a spectacular sunset in the evening.

First week of sailing in Greece was very underwhelming. Our skipper was not engaged, and my share of the remaining amount in the kitty (22 euros) was not returned to me. The second week was much better. Marius was an incredible trip leader, and everything ran very smoothly. I enjoyed the second half of the trip but the first half was not so great, hence my rating.

Had a wonderful time sailing the islands and I really love the pace that was set for each day

GA doesn't make it clear that a two week trip is in actuality two one week trips linked together and that you have to change crew, skipper and boat in between. Also, necessary information about meeting points in between is not supplied.

I have done multiple G tours and have found them to be what I want. Small groups. Reasonably priced.

Had such a great time. Met some amazing people and the whole experience was fantastic due to Adam being so friendly, informative and quick thinking when things didn't necessarily go as smoothly as they could have gone.

Love sailing in beautiful water

A trip of a lifetime. Max was such a great skipper. He explained everything we asked him about sailing and about the Islands. He was very safety conscious and made me feel comfortable about sailing. Even though I have sailed a little before with friends he actually explained the how and why things are done the way they are. Cannot wait until our next trip with G to Turkey. Hopefully our experience there will be just as amazing.

The sailing is fantastic! Particularly during the first week of the trip with Nick, we had many incredible swim stops that showed the beauty of the Greek islands and we got many chances to really experience sailing.
08/17/2023
We all had such a great time learning about sailing by actually sailing and helping out when we could. Nick was great about letting everyone do as much as they wanted to within reason. He knew how to delegate when needed and made everyone feel like they were making a contribution. Anyone who hasn't done a lot of sailing and would like to learn more in a fun way should take this tour.

it was everything that I expected and would do it again.
