Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok

Welcome to Thailand! The land of smiles, mango sticky rice and the world's biggest water fight...but we'll talk more about that later! For now, check-in to your hotel, meet the group, your TruLeader (aka your new best friend) and get exploring. We'll meet in the evening for our first night out. Get to know each other, throw about some cracking ice-breakers and then let's head out to see Bangkok by night - whether your vibe is a rooftop bar, a bucket or two or exploring the night markets - we'll kick things off in Tru-style!
2

Day 2: Bangkok

It's temple time! There's no better way to spend our first full day in Bangkok. We'll explore the city and visit Wat Arun and Wat Pho to see the famous reclining Buddha which is a whopping 46m long - crazy right?! Then all-aboard! it's time for a river cruise where we'll get to see the amazing city from the water - camera's at the ready people. After a busy day exploring and getting all the steps in we'll jump on a tuktuk back to our hotel and have a few hours to chill by the pool before heading out for dinner. To finish the day off it's only right we spend our final night in Bangkok on Khaosan Road - fried scorpion anyone?
3

Day 3: Bangkok/Chiang Mai

It's a chilled start this morning, relax by the pool, have a slow breakfast and limber up...today we're learning how to master the art of Muay Thai. This traditional Thai martial art has been a part of Thai culture since the 13th century and luckily for us we're going to learn how to nail the basics from some experts. With our hearts racing and yet another thing ticked off our bucket list we'll head towards the station ready to jump aboard the overnight train which is taking us to our next epic destination. With Oreos, ear plugs and some coconut chips at the ready we'll spend the night zooming across the Thai countryside and resting up before the celebrations awaiting us in the north!
4

Day 4: Chiang Mai

Sleep well? Of course you did! Sleeper trains get a bad rep but they are surprisingly comfy! We'll arrive in Chaing Mai early in the morning and we'll jump straight in with a walking tour across the Old Town. After that you'll have some free time to explore, shop 'til you drop in the markets, go sightseeing or just find the nearest local restaurant and try some more incredible food (that would be our choice!) Once we check into our hotel in the afternoon, we'll freshen up and get ready for war. A water war of course! Grab your weapons of choice, your goggles (we won't judge - promise) and your festival spirit!
5

Day 5: Chiang Mai

After yesterday's evening celebrations we're headed out to experience some more of the culture Chaing Mai has to offer. We'll travel over to explore the Doi Suthep temple and learn about the history of this epic site! In the afternoon we'll have some free time to relax before we get ready to watch the incredible Songkran parade. Get ready for traditional dancers, live music, amazing floats and so much more! After a magical day we'll go for some dinner and maybe even head out out to one of Chiang Mai's best nightclubs.
6

Day 6: Chiang Mai

It our final full day on tour - we're not crying you are...We're going out on a high! After a busy few days we'll have a slow morning - this is the perfect time to start planning your insta posts. Then this afternoon we are going to meet the gentle giants...elephants of course! We'll visit a sanctuary which we have worked with for a long time - hear the elephants are the top priority and we can't wait for you to see all the amazing work they are doing daily to make sure these amazing animals live a happy and safe life. After that we'll jump on some bamboo rafts experience the magic of the jungle. Tonight it's all about fond farewells, swapping numbers and sharing our highlights of the trip. It's been an amazing trip and we have experienced SO much in a short amount of time! Festivals, temples, river cruises, Muay Thai and more!

Day 7: Chiang Mai

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to your new best friends and pack your bags ready for your next adventure. Whether you have more plans in Asia lined up or you are headed home, your TruLeader will be on hand to help you have a smooth journey! It's been an amazing week full of bucket list moments and tbh we can't believe it's over already. It's not good bye, it's see you later - 2026 reunion?

I experienced Songkran 2025 in Silom and it was just magical! The energy of the party is indescribable: thousands of people gathered in a cheerful atmosphere, doused in water to celebrate the Thai New Year. Silom Street is turning into a huge water festival! The police presence is reassuring and fluid organization.

The Songkran festival celebrated from 13 - 15 April 2025 and I chose to be at Silom. The crowd was mixed of local and foreigner who wanna experience Songkran. There were numbers of activities surround with water as foundation of the festival. Have fun and observed the do & don't which easily found in the website.
