We had a fantastic trip. Our tour leader Luke was amazing, he taught us a lot about the history and culture of Spain and Portugal. I wasn’t expecting to love Portugal as much as I did. A hidden gem. Our Morocco leg was fantastic it was great seeing the diversity between the South and North. We loved our day in Fez and seeing the Atlas Mountains was a real treat. Thanks to our leaders and Intrepid we have had a wonderful time and looking forward to the next destination!

At first it seemed like a bit of a budget tour... for what we paid! Navigating our luggage through Spain & Portugal's cobblestone streets and on public transport! A lot of the tour also felt too rushed! In saying that, I had an amazing time!

I did enjoy my trip from Madrid, through Portugal, and Morocco, with the desert extension. The group leaders were excellent, and the itinerary well planned. The local guides were excellent. The trip literature is not as informative as I have had from other companies, but the tour itself was great. I would suggest extra days in Madrid before the trip, as there is no real tour there.

This was my first Intrepid Adventure, I would highly recommend both the company and all the guides we were blessed to meet. The memories of shared experiences will be with me forever. From Spain, Portugal to Morocco, every part was amazing. Thank you Intrepid and thank you to all the guides, bus drivers and all that made my holiday memorable

An exciting and revealing tour that took us to many places we wouldn’t and couldn’t have found easily. A great experience

This was a fantastic way to experience parts of the world that we had not even considered. Great experiences with wonderful guides

A great adventure that allowed us to see real life in Portugal and Morocco in a safe and enjoyable way.

Lots to see and do. Guides were all positive and insightful and dealt with some difficult circumstances in regards to our group members. Always went out of their way to accommodate and show items off the beaten path. If you haven't been to Morocco, this is probably the best trip to see the whole country.

An absolutely amazing trip! It was great to be able to see the influences of architecture and style between Spain, Portugal and Morocco. The Sahara, Coimbra, Chefchaouen and Essaouira were highlights. The tour leaders were great and really knew their stuff.

Our Intrepid trip to Spain, Portugal and Morocco was absolutely wonderful. Our guides we're so helpful and arranged for us to have options depending on our individual interests. Accommodation was very comfortable and transport excellent. We learned so much from our guides and the various local guides they organised. Having meals in locals' homes was a highlight, as was our stay in the Sahara desert. Thank you so much Intrepid!

This trip was subpar at best. Hardly any time was spent in Spain. Portugal was disappointing as we avoided highlights such as Porto and Lagos, instead spending too much time in towns such as Coimbra. The Moroccan part was much better, but still lacked sufficient support and guidance from the leader.

Three new countries for us. Each a different culture , lead by great leaders terrific foods, accommodations and fun groups
08/27/2023
Spain and Portugal was amazing, the leader Mariela Cavallo was excellent enhancing our food and cultural experiences immensely…thoroughly enjoyed it. Morocco was confronting, as expected but the plight of women and poverty hard to come to terms with. Our tour leaders were limited by their own lack of life experience.

This was a trip of a lifetime - so happy we decided to include the Morocco extension to experience how diverse the country is. So worth it!

My 24 day Intrepid tour of Spain, Portugal and Morocco was fantastic. The trip was a good balance between pleasure and adventure. The guides were local, friendly, approachable and well organized. Transport and accommodation were good and we were well looked after. I'll certainly consider going with Intrepid for my next trip away.
