V was one of the best and most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had, giving us answers to any questions however obscure, sharing his wealth of knowledge on all things Sri Lanka, teaching us some of the local language and just about the only thing he didn’t know was the rule for “Black Magic” when the group were having a games night in the bar! This tour was unbelievable! The number of activities and experiences packed into a short time is crazy but ant the same time managed to give us all the opportunity to have some down time and chill when needed! The accommodation could not have been better, from the views in Ella, to the clamping experience and topped off with an upgrade to finish the tour! The biggest thank you and mention has to be to V our guide, friend and endless knowledge source! He kept us entertained on long journeys and went above and beyond to make sure our trip went as smoothly as possible! I will be telling everyone to use this for the upcoming adventures!!!

Where do I start? Firstly, Vajira our tour guide is the most whole hearted, genuine & caring person I have met. The tour itself was brilliant, but with the added bonus of sharing it with Vajira it was taken to a new level. We enjoyed every minute of it, the itinerary was full on but brought so many memories, moments of laughter and enabling some friendships to be made for life. On the tour, you get to see and experience a full flavour of Sri Lanka, from hiking up Sigiriya Rock, visiting the iconic temple in Kandy, cooking classes, visiting tea plantations, hopping on the train to Ella & Elephant safari. We throughly enjoyed every single activity and were more than informed throughout through Vijara’s thorough knowledge. There was not a single question that he could not answer, and went above and beyond to inform, care & enhance the tour experience. On a personal note, it was my birthday during the tour and on the day the bus had been decorated with balloons / banners. The guys also organised a cake and celebrations at the hotel, which just goes to show it is not a job for them, but true caring people. Because of all of the above, we cannot recommend this tour enough. I cannot put into words how good of a tour it was, and would like to say this was all down to the carefully designed itinerary, Silva / Lucky our drivers and finally Vijara, the best tour guide we have ever had.

I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than V. His knowledge of Sri Lanka is amazing and his passion for his country really comes through. I feel as though I have come away with a good understanding of Sri Lanka and its culture and have learnt so much more than I was expecting which is great. V is kind and caring and at the drop of a hat was there for any one of us. He is so fun to be around and we all had many laughs. I appreciate everything V did on the tour, every second was filled with fun activities and I never felt lost or questioned my decision to join on to the tour. I would recommend it to everyone. The group was lovely and I felt so comfortable around everyone, like we were a little family for 10 days. The people you meet really makes the experience as well. My favourite activity has to be Lion’s Rock as I loved learning about it and it was fascinating to actually see the remains. I am amazed with how much Sri Lanka has to offer. Thank you.

I just wanted to give him a shout out as I think this group is not easy, most of them are youngters and didn't really listen to him. It was kinda hard to get their attention but he made it and managed it very well (Our group is lovely though. Well done, Mahengg?

Mahen went above and beyond throughout the entire tour. Always on hand to help when and if we needed it. The tour itself has a full on itinerary however, anything we wanted to do which wasn’t on it mehen made time for us to do. He was always very happy and smiling. One of the best guides I’ve had on a this tour, would % recommend Sri Lanka tour.

Mahen was an excellent guide he is approachable, reliable and accommodating to any requests or needs. He has great knowledge and passion of Sri Lanka and it's history and culture. Mahen also included additional activities such as surfing which was the highlight.

Hassi was a really good guide, he was very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and the history. He was passionate about different activities we completed like the elephants and turtles and provided us with education on them all. Hassi always tried to improve our experience and he often would look for extra activities for us to do. Hassi was also fun.

Mahen was an absolute JOY what an attentive, positive, knowledgeable man. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time always checking in and also offering extras. The trip was wonderful I would say hotel Lily was the best hotel. The safari and elephants as well as swimming with turtles was incredibly special.

My experience of the Sri Lanka Uncovered tour has been nothing short of incredible. I have loved every second and that is down to our tour leader Mahen. He has gone above and beyond at every opportunity to ensure the best experience for us all, accommodating extra activities and always ensuring we were happy and comfortable. Thank you so much for the most amazing trip. I never wanted to leave and will be back in Sri Lanka when I can.

Very friendly but at times hard to get straight forwards answers however this may be a language barrier and understandable. Tried hard to keep us out and about doing activities during the day. I would have liked more accurate pricing of activities so I could have planned my spending accordingly. Otherwise great experience and love the jam packed days, and every day went smoothly

Hasitha was a great tour guide. He was full of energy and always wanted us to get the most out of each activity we did. He has a great passion for his country and always wanted to make a difference and help the local communities as much as possible. This was my first time traveling overseas and using true travels and I believe hasi helped to make it the most amazing and memorable experience I’ve had. I definitely wouldn’t have seen and learnt as much about Sri Lanka as I did without him as my guide!!

Mahen and the driver and co-pilot were incredible! Mahen is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome. He listens to feedback from the group and will alter plans where needed. He’s the best tour guide I have had.

Mahen is the best tour guide you could wish for. This man is happy every day, has the energy of ten people, and is always helpful. Because of his presence, this tour has become an unforgettable experience for me. Oh, and he takes fantastic photos of everything and everyone. Also he has a lot of knowledge of everything and every place that we’ve visited!
