Itinerary
Day 1: Sydney
There's nothing quite like a night out to get people comfortable with one another. Hit up Side Bar, connected to where you will be staying at the Wake Up Hostel in Sydney. This is the liveliest bar around, sporting a huge young and local crowd. There's always non-stop action with the entertainment so get ready to have a few drinks, let your hair down, and dance until you drop!
There are no planned activities during the day, so check into the hotel and explore the city.
If you arrive early enough, head down to the harbour's edge to 'The Rocks' historic area.
Day 2: Sydney
Day 3: Sydney/Arrawarra
Day 4: Arrawarra
Spend some time in the sun and laughing in the waves with your travel tribe before heading out on a kangaroo trek. Then it's time for a free afternoon to enjoy your surroundings. Soak up views of Solitary Islands Marine Park, embark on a rockpool scramble to look for fish traps and sea creatures, or wander over to Mullawarra beach for a picnic. Your only real job today is to have fun!
Day 5: Arrawarra/Byron Bay
Travel the coastal road to the stunning surf and arts town of Byron Bay. Enjoy plenty of free time to experience the hippie surfing town.
Day 6: Byron Bay
At the end of it all hop on that surfboard for one last ride because as the locals say, “You haven't surfed until you've surfed Byron Man!"
Opt to pre-book the "Byron Bay Ocean Kayaking" activity on the checkout page ahead of time, to include this optional on your tour.
Day 7: Byron Bay/Brisbane
Tour ends upon arrival to Brisbane in the afternoon, but we recommend extending to enjoy what this fun city has to offer. Besides, you probably aren't ready to go home just yet.

Tamar was amazing! The whole trip went smoothly and I felt like the group having a good experience was a top priority.

You have to be able to sleep in hostels and share some space with different people. So that's why not everybody can do it!
12/02/2023
Was very well organized! The group size was just a bit too big for me and the busses were poorly air-conditioned.

I think G Adventures is an incredible travel style for young people who don't care about nice/spacious accommodations but could feel cramped for people with higher expectations.

Great tour with a great host.
10/28/2023
Only thing that would make it better is if the accommodation was hotels instead of hostels, but I realize that would make the price a lot higher, which would make the tour less affordable for travellers like me.

friendly, safe, and worry-free

Just because the information at the start wasnt clear. The first hostel wasn't good at giving out information and I felt quite lonely for the first day.

The structure of the trip and nature of group holidays making it a positive environment. It blends personal time with group activities very well and the guide was very mindful of this. I was also incredibly impressed with the knowledge and communication skills of our CEO, she helped us understand Australia and our surroundings. Shawnee was also very personable and made you feel very comfortable talking to her.

It really depends on what they are looking for, the price is ok, the experiences are fun, but I am not a partier, and this is a party atmosphere. Still had fun and met some great people
