Great trip with lots of interesting stops, museums and some fabulous music. The pace is pretty full-on but there is some free time and opportunity to go to gigs at Preservation Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. Claire was a great leader who made the trip a lot of fun.

This trip was incredible, I was originally sceptical about the price, but the quality of the accommodation provided and the activities that were included were outstanding. This was truly a very good trip that I would highly recommend!

I don’t think the trip was good value for money. The van very uncomfortable & the commentary inadequate. The people in the group really made the trip enjoyable. There was too little time in Nashville & New Orleans & I’m glad I extended the trip myself to spend more time exploring these cities.

So glad we did the music trail tour as the places we went to were so diverse ! Travis our tour coordinator, driver , guide was extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Learnt a lot about music history and there was plenty of places to enjoy some really good music at your own leisure

Highly recommend this trip! It includes lots of extra tours in each location which felt like true value for money. The hotels were in great locations and very clean/spacious. The itinerary was busy but made so easy by our Travel Guide, Travis! He was amazing, very knowledgeable in each location, funny and helpful. He went above and beyond so you'll be lucky to get him as your guide!

This trip was packed with incredible live music, food, history and FUN! The people of the American South are so friendly and open. Our leader Emily was wonderful. I suggest extending your time in New Orleans by a day or two on your own.

5 star trip and an opportunity to look at the South in an in depth manner. The tour was expertly led by Emily and the activities were very good including offerings by smaller boutique style tour operators. It is a fascinating part of USA and Intrepid does it very well.

Loved the trip! The guide was absolutely amazing, group was great, and the itinerary was a lot of fun. Awesome southern food, learning about the history and being amongst the different music of the South - couldn't get any better. Highly recommend it!

The Nashville to New Orleans musical journey was excellent. The trip was veyond my wildste dreams. Justin James, Intrepid tour leader, shared his vast knowledge of the history of Blue grass music, blues music and Jazz, in a friendly manner.

One of my favourite trips ever. Absolutely loved Nashville, and our Guide, Brittni was one of the best I have encountered on any tour I have done. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for this trip was outstanding and she took us to fun places ie piano bar in Memphis where we had a wonderful sing a long!!! We had so many fabulous experiences, most we included in the itinerary but not all. If you do this tour, which I highly recommend, I hope you are lucky enough to get her as your guide!!
