This was our first trip with G Adventures and we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the guide, who was a last minute replacement with insufficient training and/or experience. her english was also quite limited - we don't blame the guide who was thrown in and did her very best but rather the lack of oversight or follow up from the organization, which does not make it a one off and rather a 'likely to repeat situation' - who also contact G Adventures halfway through the trip to voice our concerns and received totally unhelpful responses ('we hear your concerns and we passed the information for another departement who will investigate' - we did eventually receive a response after the trip was completed and a small refund but we would have much prefered help during the trip (like supporting our inexperienced guide with another guide) - for those reasons we believe this is a systemic issue and would be afraid to recommend you to our friends and family - it is unacceptable to throw in a inexperienced guide and hope for the best, the lack of oversight and training is the key issue

The last 2 trips w your company have not been great

There was a lot of free time and little to do in some villages. I would have liked more optional activities. Also, some of the expected activities that were included, did not take place.

Great variety of activities, a real taste of Thailand
12/01/2023
A great way to get an in depth snap shot of what the country has to offer in an organized, safe way.

Some improvement needed on the level of service and activity.

I went on Thailand hike, bike & Kayak. This trip is advertised as an active trip and therefore I was expecting to be on the go for 2 weeks with barely any downtime. The beginning of the trip had way too much downtime with bike rides in the morning and leisure afternoon and evening. Either add activities to this trip or reduce the length to 11 days as it can be done in that time by condensing activities.

I have now had three very positive experiences traveling with G Adventures (and actually have someone currently en route to their first G trip after following my recommendation). The guides are positive, the mission is clear, there is flexibility within the structure, and I love going to behind-the-scenes places and experiencing small communities.

Always enjoy Gtrips

The trip exceeded all my expectations
08/04/2023
We chose an active adventure and we couldn't be happier. Our group was diverse and yet like minded. We were so happy together for the duration of the tour. Every day we had an explorative, physically rewarding activity. In the afternoon we enjoyed free time to rest and explore independently. Our guide was amazing in her willingness to enhance our tour with additional experiences like exploring markets, temples, and evening shows. We feel like we',ve seen more of Thailand than we ever expected, developed an understanding of culture and come to love it and the Thai people.

The overall trip and activities were very good, however what would have made it better is having more people be part of the tour. Having been on a tour previously as part of a larger group it was a much better experience, and we felt like we should',ve been told in advance we would be the only 2 people on this tour as it would',ve definitely made us rethink booking it.

It was fun and adventurous

I've already recommended G Adventures to my sister. The company ensures the safety and experience of it's clients.

I did multiple tours with you already and was never disappointed. You have a huge variety of different types of tours in different styles all around the world, always making sure the local people are not bothered by us travellers and even helping them to get their share of income from tourism.

It was an amazing experience and deserved a 10!

Everything was super smooth and the program was diverse and perfectly balanced. Great CEO

Usually good tours
04/21/2023
Quite good value for money, but poorly planned
04/21/2023
I liked the great variety of activities during the tour and the well organized trips. Regarding the difficulty of some of the activities it's not overall recommended for all of my friends. The quality of some of the accommodations is also less than expected.
