Itinerary
Day 1: Munich
Day 2: Munich/Innsbruck
Day 3: Innsbruck/Venice
Day 4: Venice
The main city is small enough that you can walk it in several hours with the added bonus of getting those steps in. Explore the canals, relax in the small squares, and go cafe-hopping for coffee, pastries, wine, or all three, because why not? See Venice from the water on a gondola ride through the canals, run through the pigeons or people watch in St. Mark's Square, take an elevator ride up to the top of the Campanile Di San Marco for panoramic views of the city below. Your only real job today is to have a blast!!
Day 5: Venice/Florence
This evening happens to be perfect if you are looking to relax, eat some more (if you can), or recover from those food comas in your hostel before a quick highlight tour of the city.
Day 6: Florence
Day 7: Florence/Rome
The night is yours! Did someone say dance party?
Day 8: Rome
Day 9: Rome to Split
Day 10: Split
Day 11: Brač/Split
Day 12: Split/Dubrovnik
Day 13: Dubrovnik
Day 14: Dubrovnik
Day 15: Dubrovnik/Kotor
You'll check out the historic village of Perast. Think marvellous buildings, postcard-like churches, and a romantic waterfront that seems to feature in every painting of European sailing towns. Rest of the day you get to hang out with your super cool and fun CEO. They will take you on a highlights walk of UNESCO protected Kotor and show you places like the Old City, St. Tryphon Cathedral, and the famous Clock Tower. Don't let the fun end here! Make a plan and keep hanging out and see if your CEO can accompany you to a few hole in the wall places that will make your time here truly unique.
Day 16: Kotor
The rest of the day belongs to you. Explore, bop around, and experience Kotor as you wish. Even if that means laying low at the hostel with a few friends, we won't judge, in fact, the best moments often happen when you least expect them. Cat lovers rejoice! Because Kotor has their very own Cat Museum you can visit. Not feeling an afternoon of felines? That's ok, walk into the impressive interior of St. Nicholas' Church, hop on a boat and visit Our Lady of the Rocks, or book an excursion to Blue Cave for a bucket-list worthy swim spot.
Day 17: Kotor/Tirana
Finish the day in Tirana with a half day guided walking tour through the streets featuring Skanderbeg Square!
Day 18: Tirana
Day 19: Tirana/Corfu
Day 20: Corfu
Searching for something more exciting and unique? Chill out on an olive oil tasting experience, or learn about bees and honey production in Corfu. Looking for more adventure? Visit an ancient monastery on steep cliffs overlooking the azure waters. Want to just relax? Lay out beachside working on your tan and swimming in the refreshing waters. Turns out you really can't go wrong on this Greek island. Tonight, opt to go out with the group to Corfu Town and hit up some of the best nightlife spots. The transfer to and from the hostel is included if you choose to go.
Day 21: Corfu
Day 22: Corfu/Meteora
Perched on insanely high cliffs there are six still available for visiting. They were built on these immense natural pillars and hill-rounded boulders and make for a once-in-a-lifetime sight. See as many as you can and try not to succumb to a fear of heights.
In the evening, you may want to relax in your hostel, play some games as a group, and show off those epic photos you took.
Day 23: Meteora/Delphi
Day 24: Delphi/Athens
In the evening let loose on your final night! Grab some cool beverages as a group and let those good times roll.

It depends on their age. I think this style of fast pace travel is good for younger people, aka 18-27, but after that it's kind of hard to do so because it really is go go go and at some places you barely have any time. I think there are a few things that this trip needs to work on to shorten travel time and increase your time in other places.

The quality of the rooms was either very nice or not nice. Some of them definitely felt cheap and I would've preferred if they were all average rather than some good some bad.

I loved my experience - the only reason I didn't give a 10 is because there were some problematic people on board and made it harder to enjoy everything?

Most of the hostels were good

I would recommend only if they're looking to hit some bucket list spots. it's difficult to get a true sense of each place with the short amount of time there.

Traveling almost every day is exhausting and stressful and I had issues with every CEO.

For the amount I was paying did not feel as if I got total value for my money. Expected more experienced and knowledgeable CEO?s and the way it was promoted and described, expected more activities/ tours included.

I think most of the hostels were good, some were quite dirty and very far from the centre town but overall very good.

The tour was pretty good. My issues with it include the following. 1. Group size: to me connections and bonding with new people is a big part of traveling and one of my favorites. Going into it I knew the max group size was 24 but this is not ideal at all. I went through two different groups of 24 and 22, both of which were my least favourite. It is almost impossible to go to dinner with 20 people, it's very difficult to arrange activities with this many people etc. When we had groups of 15/16 it was far more enjoyable as we could do things together and I was actually able to form connections with the people and our CEO?s but with 20+people i could not. Also I could tell with our group of 22 and 24 that even the CEO?s were having trouble managing them and organizing everyone, it's not fair on them either because then they are always stressing and cannot form connections as well. 2. Location of hostels: for the most part the hostels were pretty good, some succŽdŽs my expectations. The only complaint I have is that in Rome, Venice, Dubrovnik, the hostels were not in a prime area, it was difficult/time consuming for me to get to the main tourist areas that I wanted to see which is not ideal on a tour as fast paced as this one. When I only have one day in Rome I don't want to be spending over and hour commuting by bus to see all the sights. Something a bit more central would have been a big benefit in cities like Rime and Venice as they have a lot of things to see and only so much time to see them. Additionally in Albania I know myself and a lot of other people in my group would've preferred we stayed somewhere near the coast or by the mountains rather than Tirana, maybe it was just our CEO but many of us couldn't find much to do or see in the city, and it takes over an hour to get to the cost of mountains. 3. Pace of the tour: going in I knew it would be fast paced so it was what I expected, the pace matched my expectations. My recommendation from personal experience would be to have maybe 3 nights rather than two in the bigger, more touristic cities like Venice, Florence, Rome, and Athens. Also, again a personal preference, but I would've liked a full day in Delphi and Meteora.

In my opinion this trip could have been more easily organized and places better utilized with my own planning however was good in terms of being able to meet people to travel with

I did enjoy to travel with G Adventures. In my opinion the group were too big, I'd prefer smaller ones. The check-in was most of the time a mess because someone wasn't on the list the hostel got or someone became not the right room they paid for or just no room... and there was a lot of waiting til everyone was prepared although everyone knew when to be ready.

I thought it was a really good planned out trip - perhaps an extra or day in split/Dubrovnik over Korcula would've been good. I didn't have any issues with any of the places we visited. The hostels were mostly fine. Perhaps a better choice could be made for Tirana but I understand it's limited.

Horrible organisation and last minute booking experience. Still havent received my refund for the 2 nights in Split, where I had to sleep in a 6 dorm bed. I booked double/twin. But most of the hostels and guides at the beginning of the trip didn't know. Most of the hostels have been epicly dirty, far away from the city center, rated with 4 points out of 10, in renovation status, ... Very disapointing for a cooperation with hostelworld. The guides run the tour for the first time and havent been in most cities before. Wouldnt book the trip again with this knowledge. Most on the orientation walks have been based on Google maps. didn't get the local influence, I am used to had on other G Adventures trip. Some guides prepared some information for the walks and some not. Just a few walks with locals. Not sure why I had to pay so much money for this? I would recommend my friends to do it on their own, to have at least nice hostels. Or wait at least 1 year - maybe G Adventures is able to improve.
