Drive to Kampot, world-famous for the Kampot pepper and home of Bokor National Park.
Day 10: Kampot
Day 11: Kampot/Koh Rong

I liked how the optional activities involved local guides and the payment was direct to the providers so the income was going direct to the community.

My two previous experiences with G Adventures were not ideal. I did not want to travel with G Adventures to Cambodia, but I couldn't find a better price or itinerary. However, I have changed my mind after traveling with the phenomenal CEO, Dolla Sam. He is one of the best guides I've EVER had.

It was my first time traveling with a tour group and it was a lot more carefree than traveling by myself, I got to see interesting things that I wouldn't have found traveling alone, and Dollar and the group made me feel very welcome so it was a very enjoyable experience.

My CEO on this trip, Dollar, was absolutely amazing. It was so nice to have everything planned and taken care of by someone familiar with the local language and culture.

This tour in particular is one a kind with great staff and tour guides along the way. With the tour guide being local it made everything run smoothly!

Well organised, locally oriented, very structured, see a lot of things in a short period of time.

Positives - itinerary, group size, dedicated guide Negatives - almost too much to fit into the time and very long travel days.

I had such an amazing time and experience, I'm really glad I chose Cambodia, it lived up to all of the recommendations. The temples and Bat cave were incredible, the bamboo train was really fun. There was so much to see and do. The houses and villages were interesting to see. All of the rooms I stayed in were nice, comfortable beds. I was lucky to have the group we had. Tong our CEO, did a great job, he',s such a lovely person, a credit to G Advertures. He made sure we all had the best time possible and experience of Cambodia too. A big smile, making us all laugh lots, even when he was feeling under the weather he was still making sure we were all. The day we had to be up really early to catch the sun rise at Ankor Wat, he got up extra early, to get stuff from the restaurant, so we didn't miss out and could enjoy breakfast there. He did that as well for me, I missed a wake up call, he woke me up and got breakfast to takeaway, so I didn't miss out and wasn't hungry for the journey we had. It was my birthday whilst I was away, he got a really nice cake made for it. went above and beyond to make sure we had the very best time we could have done, I try not to compare trips, as they are all so different and special for there own reasons, but this trip was definitely up there with the other G Adventures ones I've done, the trips have set a very high bar. Our driver was really fun too, we ended up at a concert the rest of the group went back earlier, I stayed with our driver, he made sure I got back safely to the hotel. I am very keen to explore more of Asia as a result of this trip.
