Itinerary
Day 1: Amsterdam
Day 2: Amsterdam/Berlin
Day 3: Berlin
Want to try something even cooler? Rent a bike and visit the now defunct Tempelhof Airport which doubles as a beautiful park space in the city. (A best-kept local secret if we do say so ourselves). At night lounge in the hostel or witness the vibrant nightlife Berlin is known for.
Day 4: Berlin/Prague
Afterwards, hit the road and arrive in Prague by early evening. Your day doesn't end here, gather as a group and go on a highlight walk with your cool CEO passing must-see places like, the TV Tower of Prague, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, and John Lennon's Wall, followed by a beer tasting to experience Prague's famous brews.
Day 5: Prague
Day 6: Prague/Vienna
Finish the day in Vienna where you'll get to know the city as a group on an evening highlights walk. Pass sites like St. Stephen's Cathedral, Rathaus, National Library, The Hofburg and much more. Later, kick back, relax, and have some laughs at your hostel.
Day 7: Vienna
Remember, we all need a little downtime during our travels, so if you need a break we get it. Grab a coffee, order a slice of mouthwatering cake and settle yourself in with your pals on a café terrace as the world moves on around you. Don't worry, you still have plenty of time to keep finding a few world-famous museums and indulge in typical Austrian desserts like strudel or Sacher Torte. Keep in mind your CEO just might know the best secret places that will really set your experience apart from the main crowd. Ask away!
Day 8: Vienna/Salzburg
Salzburg is up next, so don't forget to save some of that wanderlust energy! You'll go with the group on an orientation walk of the city. Wander the historic squares and quaint little side streets of Salzburg Old Town. Climb Festungsberg Hill to visit Hohensalzburg Castle, or find the birthplace of Mozart and meet up to go to the museum there.
Day 9: Salzburg/Munich
Spend time in Marienplatz, home to the Old and New Town Halls. Find the famous glockenspiel, or one of the many great beer halls, or the green dome-crested towers of the iconic Church of Our Lady. The vibe is totally up to you, have a pint, or two, or three!
Day 10: Munich
Day 11: Munich/Innsbruck
Day 12: Innsbruck/Venice
Day 13: Venice
The main city is small enough that you can walk it in several hours with the added bonus of getting those steps in. Explore the canals, relax in the small squares, and go cafe-hopping for coffee, pastries, wine, or all three, because why not? See Venice from the water on a gondola ride through the canals, run through the pigeons or people watch in St. Mark's Square, take an elevator ride up to the top of the Campanile Di San Marco for panoramic views of the city below. Your only real job today is to have a blast!!
Day 14: Venice/Florence
This evening happens to be perfect if you are looking to relax, eat some more (if you can), or recover from those food comas in your hostel before a quick highlight tour of the city.
Day 15: Florence
Day 16: Florence/Rome
The night is yours! Did someone say dance party?
Day 17: Rome
Day 18: Rome to Split
Day 19: Split
Day 20: Brač/Split
Day 21: Split/Dubrovnik
Day 22: Dubrovnik
Day 23: Dubrovnik
Day 24: Dubrovnik/Kotor
You'll check out the historic village of Perast. Think marvellous buildings, postcard-like churches, and a romantic waterfront that seems to feature in every painting of European sailing towns. Rest of the day you get to hang out with your super cool and fun CEO. They will take you on a highlights walk of UNESCO protected Kotor and show you places like the Old City, St. Tryphon Cathedral, and the famous Clock Tower. Don't let the fun end here! Make a plan and keep hanging out and see if your CEO can accompany you to a few hole in the wall places that will make your time here truly unique.
Day 25: Kotor
The rest of the day belongs to you. Explore, bop around, and experience Kotor as you wish. Even if that means laying low at the hostel with a few friends, we won't judge, in fact, the best moments often happen when you least expect them. Cat lovers rejoice! Because Kotor has their very own Cat Museum you can visit. Not feeling an afternoon of felines? That's ok, walk into the impressive interior of St. Nicholas' Church, hop on a boat and visit Our Lady of the Rocks, or book an excursion to Blue Cave for a bucket-list worthy swim spot.
Day 26: Kotor/Tirana
Finish the day in Tirana with a half day guided walking tour through the streets featuring Skanderbeg Square!
Day 27: Tirana
Day 28: Tirana/Corfu
Day 29: Corfu
Searching for something more exciting and unique? Chill out on an olive oil tasting experience, or learn about bees and honey production in Corfu. Looking for more adventure? Visit an ancient monastery on steep cliffs overlooking the azure waters. Want to just relax? Lay out beachside working on your tan and swimming in the refreshing waters. Turns out you really can't go wrong on this Greek island. Tonight, opt to go out with the group to Corfu Town and hit up some of the best nightlife spots. The transfer to and from the hostel is included if you choose to go.
Day 30: Corfu
Day 31: Corfu/Meteora
Perched on insanely high cliffs there are six still available for visiting. They were built on these immense natural pillars and hill-rounded boulders and make for a once-in-a-lifetime sight. See as many as you can and try not to succumb to a fear of heights.
In the evening, you may want to relax in your hostel, play some games as a group, and show off those epic photos you took.
Day 32: Meteora/Delphi
Day 33: Delphi/Athens
In the evening let loose on your final night! Grab some cool beverages as a group and let those good times roll.

I also appreciated that we explored hidden gems that I definitely would',ve overlooked if I hadn',t have gone on this trip. Maria and Luca were phenomenal CEO and they made the trip incredibly special. I loved this tour and I am already planning on booking another tour with G Adventures. Thank you!!!!

I had the absolute best time on this trip. It was perfect as a solo traveller to meet new people and experience Europe without any hassle.

First time doing a trip and had the best experience
10/13/2024
So organised and professionally run, takes the stress away from travelling. Perfect for first time soloists

Was a great trip that covered a lot of main cities attractions, while also covering smaller places I probably wouldn't have thought to go to on my own. I was with people my age and similar life experiences. The included and optional activities were also tailored towards a younger age bracket which was great.

I don't feel like this style of travel/hostel backpacking would be suited to everybody especially most people I know as the hostels we stayed in varied a lot in aspect
09/29/2023
I selected this as I feel this way of travelling was great for us, but we are very use to travelling light, and are happy to 'roughing it' but some parts were even a bit rough for us. So I feel that I would recommend this but only to the people who I know could really handle it.

Great way to backpack without having to worry about a million bookings and you'll always have people to do stuff with

I loved this style of travel, it was laid back and we got a lot of our own time to explore different cities. The accommodation was hostels which seemed perfect because it meant we quickly got to know the others on the tour and became friends easily

Roamies mostly did what it says it does! I got to see cool places and met interesting fellow travelers along the way, without having to worry too much about logistics. At times there seemed to be mistakes or quality issues, but I think that expecting to travel without occasionally dealing with problems is unrealistic.

It's great to have the time to choose your own adventure during the free days.
06/23/2023
Great experience but way too much time spent traveling than actually being on destinations. Bus rides were pretty bad and the smallest bus size was always booked by G Adventures.

I've had a great time on this trip, it worked out great
06/09/2023
Overall the tour was great. We got to see lots of places and meet lovely people. At times though the tour felt a bit disorganised, rushed and didn't have many activities included. The tour leaders as well felt quite confused at times as this was the first time any of them had taken a Roamies tour. Some of the hostel locations were not great either. In some cities, the hostels were up to 45mins away from the main town, and when we were often staying in these places for only one or two nights, this made it difficult to explore and make the most of our time. I also found the size of the group, at the capacity size 24 people, way too big and felt uncomfortable to travel around with, especially on public transport.

Overall I had a fantastic experience. The feedback I have is there was miscommunication at times with the first CEO, from the first leg of the trio. This made it frustrating at times especially for budgeting. I am celiac (gluten free) and it was difficult to find food, this is not G?s fault. However, I was paying for breakfast to be included for most of the trip and I had to pay majority of the time to eat as there was no food for me to eat.
10/14/2022
My primary reason for selecting a 5 for the Roamies tour was that the some of the hostels were significantly below average (specifically the one in Athens) and the first tour guide was not good.
10/14/2022
I absolutely loved my experience on Roamies G Adventures. The only reason I docked a point is that the hostel life is definitely not for everyone, especially not for a month.
09/30/2023
Roamies is advertised on the G Adventures website as: 'ridiculously immersive small-group trips for 18 to 35-year-old travellers that?ll have you exploring iconic destinations and staying in some of the best hostels the world has to offer.' Although I did find my experience to be immersive and very enjoyable, some of the hostels we did stay in were far from being the 'best' in the world. In fact, I am quite sure that some of the cities we did stay in offered much better hostels.

It can be a wonderful choice for the majority of people. Some people with certain conditions wouldn't like it
